This cosy cottage retreat offers stunning views from its elevated position, close to the village centre. This is a perfect spot for couples, friends, and their beloved pets.. 2 steps to entrance.

Nestled between the Howgill Fells and the rugged Pennines this idyllic retreat is the most ideal place to unwind. Ivy Cottage features comfortable furnishings throughout and lots of outdoor space to dine al fresco on warm sunny days. It is complemented by spectacular panoramic views.
This cottage is cosy but has plenty of space for two. Hunker down in front of the Smart TV in the living room, which features a wood burner and comfy sofa seating plus a dining area. The kitchen has all the modern conveniences to ensure a comfortable stay. Featuring a super kingsize zip and link bed for maximum flexibility, storage, and a hanging area, the bedroom is a perfect retreat from the outside world. The adjacent shower room has a large waterfall shower. The hallway provides plenty of space for coats and boots. In addition, the owners have thoughtfully provided a separate utility room in the grounds. This has a sink for rinsing off mucky clothes and boots, a washing machine, dryer, a shower to hose down the dogs, and a drying rack. There’s also a cycle rack.
Dent is famous for its rich history, superb walks and stunning scenery. The Dales Way, an 85 mile rambling route running up to Bowness-on-Windermere in the Lake District from Ilkley in West Yorkshire, cuts through the village and draws many walkers to the area. The cottage is located on the outskirts of the village but within walking distance. Step back in time when visiting Dent, with its narrow, cobbled main street, white-walled cottages, ancient village church, cafés and pubs. Set in a deep, narrow valley, Dent, in Cumbria, is one of the loveliest villages in Dentdale. As well as being home to part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Dent is only 15 miles from the Lake District National Park. There are miles of footpaths and bridleways to explore. The Pennine Cycleway passes through Dent on its 350-mile route between Derby and Berwick-upon-Tweed, and there are also some excellent local loops that explore the countryside around the village. The picturesque River Dee is nearby with lovely riverside walks and fishing on offer.
