Beautiful set-up front yard and backyard. Very safe and family oriented neighborhood. Plenty of street parking.

Bright, Comfortable Apartment
Located in a beautiful residential neighborhood, the daylight basement apartment opens onto the back yard at ground level. A nearby streetlight makes on-the-street parking adjacent to the owner's off-street parking area a safe option. The kitchen is equipped with full-size refrigerator, oven, electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and garbage disposal. The lighted bathroom mirror with de-fogging heater is a nice touch. The layout of the apartment is comfortable and inviting. The living room area is equipped with an H96-P video projector. Temperature can be controlled with a Google Nest Smart Programmable Thermostat. We did not need the laundry, but it also seemed to be well-equipped.

Good Enough
We stayed for two days to attend a family event. The location was fantastic. We know it was a remodeled basement so we were anticipating that. Kitchen was adequately supplied and house directions were clear. It would have been nice if the sheets fit the bed well. They were really big. The faucet in the tub fell off which surprised us bit that was fixable. We did not think the used bar of soap that was offered to the guests was necessary. All of that said, the hosts were phenomenal to work with and we would stay again. Thank you for letting us use your home.

Nice, clean remodeled basement
We were surprised to find out that this was a remodeled basement. There were people living upstairs and not much sound proofing. There was a slide door used to block the stair well to get upstairs. You could hear people talking, walking around and it was especially loud anytime the water was being used. All stuff that we wouldn’t have minded if we weren’t specifically looking for a place to ourselves. We could have rented a more private condo for the same price. Last thing to note is that you should not rent this place if you are over 6 foot tall. The ceilings are pretty low. My boyfriend and I both had problems bumping our heads on the beams and doorway.

Be aware
We booked this place a month before our trip and messaged the host with a hello and our business in the area. Two days before we leave for our trip they message us and ask if we would like to share the space or have the entire space to ourselves. We responded that we would prefer the place to ourselves. The host then responded and said sorry and that they had already booked out the other room to another tenant and if we wanted the space to ourselves it would be an extra $40 a day. We were shocked and upset to say the least bcos none of this was stated on the listing. It is a two bedroom house with a shared living space, kitchen, and bathroom. We felt like we were being scammed and lied to. We would have booked somewhere else had we known. Also, the host gave us no time to cancel if we didn't want to share. VRBO helped us out but future renters be aware this is a "shared" space. Would not recommend.
