Very nice hotel. Clean, bed was comfy, pillows great! Bathroom was very roomy and lots of walking room in the bedroom area. There is a mall nearby and it seemed hotel was close to main roads/interstate. Breakfast was not bad…typical free breakfast fare. Only complaint was noise in the morning! We were on 2nd floor, every time toilet flushed or shower was turned on on any of the upper floors we heard EVERYTHING!! If you’re an early riser it’s fine…we aren’t!

The room we were placed in was clean. The towels were always well stocked. My only issues were the drain pipe was noisy coming from the floor above and there was a drip that fell on the AC unit outside of the unit. This made sleeping difficult. This was room 209. Other than that the coffee was always hot, the breakfast consistent and was ok and the amenities were well kept. The room has a microwave and a fridge. The washing machine and drier looked wuite new or well kept. Staff was friendly most especially the driver to the airport. FYI they can pick you up from the airport or the car rental between 5 AM and 10 PM. Outside of that time take a taxi.

Location is walking distance to variety of dining/shopping options. Within a mile of the highway on ramp. Its close enough to the airport and downtown Seattle to give you access, but far enough that you still get the quiet suberb feel.

The hotel-provided shuttle picked me up at the airport and the driver was friendly and interesting to talk to. Check-in was quick and easy - it was late in the evening and I was tired. I was very impressed with my room; modern, clean and well appointed. The complimentary breakfast provided was ample and fresh. Should the opportunity arise, I would happily stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Tukwila again.

There were many additional fees on top of the rate quoted. The front desk staff was not helpful or knowledgeable. There was a huge amount of road noise which made resting difficult. We will most likely not be staying at another holiday inn express.
