Horrible communication- DO NOT BOOK
Horrible communication with owner. We were supposed to check in at 4p. We did not hear anything from owner until 7p that evening after which time we didn’t over an hour on the phone with VRBO. We are still waiting for our refund. It was a holiday weekend with no hotel accommodations available except over an hour away from where we had concerts and scheduled events in the city. There were 8 of us coming from various parts of the state and this owner made for a very difficult weekend. Do not book with this owner!

Great Property/Abysmal Interior
The property checked most of the top rental boxes: great location, excellent view, recent renovations, and comfortable beds, HOWEVER, we had to spend 2 hours upon arrival cleaning and doing laundry before we could be comfortable in the house. Towels and bedding were in the washing machine but no laundry detergent supplied, all countertops were dirty (enough to write my name!), some bathrooms had pee stains, clean dishes in the dishwasher were left for me to put away, dead insects in window frames, food residue in sinks, dirty refrigerator, I could go on and on. Furthermore, the Host was non-communicative: I had to call to get access to the property (they reported they were "away from the phone") and after I entered and saw how unclean the property was, all I got was crickets. All discussions then went through VRBO, who, despite repeated comments of "we'll make this right", stated that it is up to the Host. The bottom line: Lots of $ paid, little to no value.

We were never able to access the property!
The property owner never communicated with us and when my family showed up to check in to the home, we had no way to access the property. We spent hours on the phone with VRBO and trying to call the owner, but he would never respond. My family had to find different accommodations for the night. The next morning, the owner finally responded and said he had been out of town, but when we tried to call him he would still never answer his phone. My family ended up having to stay at a hotel for the duration of the trip. I would NEVER book with this owner again, and I think this property should be removed from VRBO.

Not ready for guests
We received check in info 2 minutes before check-in. While we were pleased at the amount of space, we were horrified at the lack of cleanliness and basic furnishings such as closet rods and cleaning supplies. No privacy on bathroom windows, broken furniture, ants present, hair in sinks and showers, crumbs on counters, and in the sofa, hair in bathroom drawers, no washcloths or hand towels. Never received check-out instructions. Great potential here, but unsatisfactory stay. We feel we were grossly overcharged!
