Called to inform of plane delay and they gave my room away anyway. When I arrived the following morning they had no rooms even though I paid for one starting the day prior. They offered me a room that "won't have a city view, might not have a fridge and might have things that aren't working" or I could wait until the 2pm check in time. We opted to wait for the room we paid for. A manager came up to us 30ish minutes later and told us they had a room ready for us. He made it seem like it was the room type we had booked. It was not. It was a room with no view. Other than that it was in good working order and it did have a fridge.
Beyond the booking issues the room was fine. Definitely compact. If you are sharing the room one person gets to climb over the other to get in/out of bed. It is against walls on 3 sides. The shower/toilet is frosted glass and sits in the middle of the space so not 100% private but not really see through. One review described it as a cruise ship room and that's a good comparison. But a really small one. Our cruise room had about 3x the space. :P
The location was good. We walked to Lumen and to Pike's. And all in between. Lots of food and drink options nearby. I will say despite the reviews I read the hotel breakfast was unimpressive. Same options of scrambled "eggs" (0 flavor), chicken sausage, bacon and some type of fried potato or vegetable every day. Cereal, breads, and a yogurt bar. Personally I'd skip that and eat in the area.
