We were the maiden-voyage for this beachside bungalow rental. We were their first renters. Mr. Clean would have been proud. The floors, the refrigerator, the linens and shower curtain were all sparkling.
The owners graciously provide multi-pronged, high speed phone chargers. An Alexa-powered smart lamp, music speaker plus refrigerated water bottles, oven mitts and tooth brush holders were a nice touch. The unit is across the street from the police station so we felt safe. This is a family spot not a party spot. The queen sized sofa bed is new and as comfortable as a conventional bed.
The location of this beach bungalow is so close that we comfortably walked to the beach, Boardwalk Casino Pier, Breakwater Beach Water Park, Bobber's Breakfast, and the 24-hour 7-11. There is no parking at this rental but it is in a good location. We arranged overnight parking a block away.
We rode bikes to the Chop House Restaurant which is inside the Hershey Motel. There, we had award winning, pulled-pork BBQ sandwiches. That Chop House pulled-pork sandwich is legendary! The Chop House restaurant is clean and has good quality food. We also rode our bikes to the Music Man Singing Ice Cream Shoppe in nearby Lavallette. The Music Man is a guaranteed good time. If you are going to get boardwalk food, try the Birra Tacos at Taco-Tastic inside the arcade by the giant Hershey Cone.
The owners were communicative. Id misplaced my bike-lock keys and they searched for them and offered to mail them to me after we had checked out. In the end, it turned out that the bike keys were in my child's pocket but it was nice that they offered.
