Tricky toilet
The condo was located conveniently and was clean. The unit had 1 bathroom and the toilet was not secured to the floor. When using it, it would literally start to tip over. We arrived on a Saturday and noticed the toilet right away, but it didn’t seem to be leaking. On Monday we were contacted by the property manager who said on Friday, the plumber was coming to fix the toilet but she would be with the him while it was repaired and we did not need to be there. Not thrilled that it wasn’t going to be fixed until the end of trip, but it worked. On Friday we were headed out to the beach and met the plumber in the parking lot. He stated he didn’t have a code to our door and the property manager was not with him as she had originally stated. So we had to go back and let him in and stay. He started the work and then said it needed a part he didn’t have and he had to go try to find a part, and if he didn’t the toilet was now inoperable . At this point I became frustrated, I called the property manager because she should be there, not guests having to waste their day. She informed me on the phone “ that something came up” and she wasn’t coming. She didn’t even bother to give me a courtesy call to tell me, I had to call her. I let her know this was not acceptable and if we had not been there the plumber would also have wasted a trip because he didn’t have a code to the door to get in according to him. She eventually showed up after I called to complain to meet the plumber.

tricky entry, poor response
I arrived with groceries (lesson learned) and could not get the door open. I texted the contact number and the gentleman was kind, asking me to try a number of codes - nothing worked. He said someone would get back to me. 2 hours later I still had not heard from anyone. I eventually got in, and the man who came to look at the lock said it was a very tricky lock. If you know a lock is 'tricky,' why do you continue to use it? Other than that, all was fine.
