A real gem
Probably the only hotel in germany i stayed at with real air conditioning, a real mattress and real pillows. Spectacular views, excellent food, more than adequate pool and saunas. A real gem.

everything about this hotel is beyond any expectation. absolutely perfect! there was a small bug infestation of silverfish in our room, easy to take care of. other than than, everything was spectacular.

Great location! Hotel was right under both castles and easy to get around. NOTE- if you are visiting Newschweinstein Castle, be aware that it is not handicap accessible and there is a lot of walking both up the mountain and down! Bus is more reliable than the carriage ride down from the castle.

This is one of the best hotels anywhere. The location is gorgeous, the staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and capable. Every single interaction with all of them over a 3-day stay was pleasant and positive. The breakfast is outstanding and the views are stunning. The room is large, comfortable, and clean. There is nothing that needs to be improved…this place is perfect . My only regret is that I didn’t book a longer stay. LOVE this hotel and absolutely recommend it! A jewel of the Bayern region and a working model of German precision and attention to detail. Stay here or you will truly have missed out.

Absolutely beautiful setting. You see castles on either side of the hotel. Next to a lake with Paddle boat option. Food options were great. Breakfast was great. Would absolutely recommend.
