Lovely relaxing week
The cottage is in a great location for county walks and accessing the coast and places to visit. The cottage was clean, comfortable and cosy and equipped with everything you could need. Jo was very helpful and we would happily visit again. Have been recommending the cottage and the village to friends already. Helen and Pippa

Great location in the countryside but close to Scarborough. Jo was there to welcome us and made us a cuppa after our long journey, which was wonderful. Would definitely recommend.

2nd stay here didn't disappoint.
Small, but clean and warm and has everything you need. It is in a lovely, quiet location, near the Yorkshire coast. The host is delightful and we will definitely come again.

Lovely little cottage in a good location for exploring the coast.
Friendly owner met us on arrival. Small compact cottage.Beds very clean and comfortable. Only downside was it is in need of some updating with regard to decoration and appliances. Found some food in the fridge which had been left by previous occupier so a proper clean is needed before next tenant.

Cosy cottage
We had a really lovely week at Wren Cottage. Just a short drive from Scarborough, the location is perfect for visiting the coast and the North Yorkshire moors. Very quiet location. The cottage has everything you would need for self catering although there are plenty of eateries within reasonable distance if you prefer to eat out. Would have been good to have wifi, but sometimes going off line for a while helps to unwind.

Simple but lovely
We had a lovely little stay at Wren cottage. It was only a 3 day visit (involving people with little legs) so we didn't have the opportunity to experience the undoubtedly beautiful walking opportunities in the immediate area but as a base from which to visit things in and around Scarborough it was ideal. The cottage and its facilities are simple, clean, comfortable and in good condition - absolutely fine for two adults and two children such as we were. The owner, Jo, was friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to emails in the run up to our stay. She made us feel very welcome when we first arrived. Would recommend.

Lovely cosy cottage with the advantage of being dog friendly. 15 mins drive to Scarborough.
Peaceful relaxing break away with two dogs in comfortable cottage close to Scarborough. Car essential for this stay. Small shared garden at the end of a row of cottages. Nice view from garden but not suitable for dogs. There are lovely walks in the area which owner kindly informed us of and Scarborough just a 15 min car drive away where we took dogs for evening walks. Baby gate available to allow front door of cottage to be left open but keep dogs safe inside. Jo greeted us on arrival providing milk and biscuits and a tour of the cottage. We stayed 3 nights and very much enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Would stay again and recommend!

Lovely cottage in a stunning area.
Secluded and yet only 5 mins drive away from Scalby village. Lovely views over Scarborough and the castle. We were house hunting in the area and it was a really useful base to explore. Hopefully we will return soon. The owners left fresh flowers in the living room, such a nice touch.😀
