Good property for short stay in Scarborough

Overall good, nice location, efficient communications beforehand. Top floor apartment functional, would benefit from some additional facilities in the kitchen (e.g. cafetiere) and also storage near sinks in bathroom but these are minor points and we enjoyed our stay.

We had a complaint from the person underneath us saying we had been banging up and down on the floorboatds and that he had enough of the noise,the property above us had very noisy floorboards aswell,i tbink some of the floorboards need securing but other than that,a lovely place with lovely views over the cricket ground

Good basic apartment spoiled by nasty smell.

Overall a nice basic apartment with a nive view of the cricket ground. There was a persistent smell of sewage in the bathroom which no amount of airing could clear.

Spacious and clean.

Lots of room and we liked that there were two bedrooms next to each other with a separate seating area. It was a little hot with it being on the top floor. Excellent views and a very clean , modern kitchen . Thoughtful touches leaving tea towels, teabags and coffee etc. We enjoyed our stay .

Nice flat, but needs some more basic amenities.

We stayed in #4 on the top floor. The apartment was very nice and would be great for a small family, it was very tight quarters for 4 adults. It was a very warm weekend and there is very little airflow in the flat. The kitchen / living area only had a small vent style window, and the bedrooms only had skylights. If you tried to sleep with the skylights open then the seagulls would keep you awake, but if you closed them it was very very warm and stuffy. A few fans would've made the weekend a lot more comfortable. The kitchen is stocked, however the toaster did not work. The electric shower had low water flow on the second day so we couldn't get hot water for 3 let alone 4 showers. There was no place to hang towels except one hook in the small bathroom, or clothes in the one bedroom, a few hooks in each room and a over the door hook with a few hangers would be helpful. It was a little weird to have been told after booking this apartment that we would have to bring our own towels, as none were provided. But, since we were traveling by car it was a bit easier than our usual train trip. It would be difficult for anyone traveling from abroad. A second set of keys would also have been useful, as we have 2 couples.
