This simple self-catering cottage is tucked away in the village of Knodishall, less than four miles to magical Thorpeness, Sizewell, and picturesque Aldeburgh, as well as being just a short walk to the local pub. Accommodation comprises an open plan living space with basic cooking facilities, a cosy double bedroom, and a separate shower room.
The accommodation is an annex to the main house with a shared entrance giving access to the self-contained guest accommodation. Please note there's no WiFi.
ENTRANCE
There are steps up and a curtain to the inner hall where you’ll find the doors to the living space with bedroom beyond, and a separate door to the private shower room.
LVING SPACE
This cosy room has been designed with a sitting area; folding table with a chair and stools if you like to eat at home; and a small kitchen equipped with a microwave, single hot plate, a toaster, kettle, and a butcher’s block for storage and workspace. In the entrance there’s also a small fridge with an ice compartment.
BEDROOM
A good sized room with a double bed, a desk and a wonderful retro comfy chair with stool, and storage in a wardrobe and bedside units. There's also an external door which isn't usually in use.
SHOWER ROOM
Fitted with a corner shower cubicle and electric shower, a WC, wash basin and vanity unit, heated towel rail and a window giving natural light. Please note the shower room is located through the curtained inner lobby before you go through the main door to the living and bedrooms. The shower room door does have a lock on it and is exclusively for your use.
OUTSIDE
Access is from Mill Road where you can park or there’s free parking on the common just 40 yards away. The garden gate opens onto steep steps and a path leading to the door.
