Nice looking unit in great area (entering from the W Congress alley is sketchy at night). Walking distance to the River front area, The Old Pink House, Mrs Wilkes, JW Marriott. Bathrooms are small but very nicely redone. Beds are pretty good (memory foam type), but good luck getting to sleep with the noise....
Problems:
1. NOISE from street and neighbors was crazy, late into the evening - 2am the first night. They provide earplugs, which is a really bad sign when you first arrive. Lots of loud cars cruise by the unit (on Broughton) at all hours of the day and night - music as well as exhaust noise - a bit like being a drag race.
2. NO CABLE TV AT ALL. You have to google "cast" something from your phone or laptop so no news, current shows, etc unless you have a subscription and if you don't have the cast app on your phone, you have to pay for that if more than 3 days. You can cast from google on a laptop fairly easily, but you still need the content to cast.
3. Very squeaky floor. You can't walk around the living area if anyone else is trying to sleep anywhere in the unit.
4. Parking is terrible, but that really goes for all of Savannah, not just this unit. You should park 4 blocks away in the deck near the courthouse at 123 Montgomery street. Reasonable and seems to be safe to walk there in the daylight.
5. No corkscrew so if you like wine, bring your own.
Probably best for younger crowd that will be out until late night.
