Summary:
Our one bedroom, one bath studio ground floor apartment with dock and river access at the Retro Rainbow Herb River Hideaway might be small but it's big on southern charm! Our home accommodates up to 4 guests with a king size bed as well as a queen size pull out sofa. We are located just 8.5 miles from downtown Savannah and a scenic 30 minute drive will take you to beautiful Tybee Island. Free wifi, pet friendly with fee. We hope to host you!

The Space:
Located on the bottom portion of a duplex, you will have access to the entire lower-level studio apartment.
When you arrive at our property, you will be greeted with everything that makes Savannah so charming. Mature trees dripping with Spanish Moss and the marsh that welcomes the Herb River will be your backdrop.
Upon entering our home, you will be welcomed with an open concept living style. Our living room is equipped with a large flat-screen TV complete with Roku, as well as a couch that pulls out into a queen-size bed.
The kitchen is stocked with all your basics to help you settle in and cook a meal. Off the kitchen is a quaint dining table with seating for 4.
A room divider separates the main living area and the bedroom. In the bedroom, you will find a king-size bed as well as a stackable washer and dryer for use during your stay.
The bathroom is newly updated with a large walk-in shower.
Outside you will find a cozy deck complete with patio furniture, grill, and fire pit. We also provide two parking spots for our guests in a private sand parking area next to the marsh. We know you will love your time in Savannah and our cozy southern apartment! See you soon! There is a dock on the river directly outside the property. Gate code access will be given once waiver is filled out.

We have a community game area with a great deal of seating and a grill. It also consists of different games such as volleyball, corn hole, ladder toss, and more!

Guest Access:
The house has a digital combo lock pad. We will provide you with the code upon check-in.

The Neighborhood:
Our location on the marsh provides the perfect back drop for what makes Savannah so charming! Large mature trees dripping in Spanish Moss, breezy nights and a location that is close to dining, shopping and adventure.

Getting Around:
We recommend driving and offer parking for our guests. However, Uber and Lyft service the area as well.

Other Things to Note:
We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 25 years of age to book.
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.

Interaction with Guests:
We want to provide our guests with maximum privacy and flexibility, so we have check-in and check-out automated. We will call and touch base on the phone, and we can always have someone come and help if you need it, but otherwise, we will leave you and your friends and family to spend time together.
During your stay at this apartment building, you'll be close to Lake Mayer Community Park. A kitchen and a washer/dryer are available in the apartment.

Great Stay with a beautiful view
Really enjoyed our stay and loved the view. We didn’t spend much time there and the only thing of notice was the floors were dirty. Bathroom, kitchen and laundry was all clean. We would stay here again!

Property was exactly as advertised, beautiful view, easy access and very peaceful area. Loved that it was just far enough from town to escape the crazy traffic but close enough to make the drive very convenient. Didn't see a spec of dirt and the sheets/bedding smelled clean and fresh. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable and clean
The property was just as it was pictured in the listing. It was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was very well stocked, we were provided everything including some laundry soap if we needed it! The bed was comfortable, but a little on the firm side. The shower was huge and has 2 shower heads. The view was beautiful over the marsh, and the screened porch was a fantastic addition to make the place more spacious. All of the windows have blinds, but I would have preferred heavy curtains on the window in the bedroom to minimize the headlights shining in the room at night. Check in was a breeze, and management contacted us via text to make sure we were all settled in and made sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay and really have no complaints, but there are some things you may want to be aware of that isn't mentioned in the listing: The listing says that the pullout couch was available for 2 more people but just sitting on the couch was very uncomfortable, so I can't imagine what sleeping on it would be like. In addition, the couch is 2 feet away from the bed, with only a room divider between, so if that matters to you, be aware. The listing doesn't say that the house is on a fairly busy street, so if you have a pup that tends to run out, young children, or you just want absolute peace and quiet while sitting outside, be aware that there is regular and fairly constant traffic going by. It's not noisy inside the house with the windows closed, but the road is RIGHT THERE, a few feet away from the house. It didn't impact our enjoyment that much, but I was picturing the house on a cul-de-sac or something and was a bit bummed that it wasn't as quiet as I had hoped. GPS will NOT take you to the house, and it's not very well marked, so you have to go by the picture of the house and figure it out. There was nobody upstairs during our stay, but someone from management briefly checked on things upstairs and we were a bit surprised at how noisy it was when she was up there just walking around. It may have been a completely different experience with small children and pups running around up there, but we can't say for sure.
