Things to Do Around Savannah
The 30-acre Forsyth Park features a fountain built in 1858. It is a replica of Place de la Concorde fountains in Paris. The two playgrounds are intended for different age groups. A concert and event space is on the east side, and a garden for the blind is on the west side. The south end has open fields, basketball courts, and tennis courts. On Saturdays, the park hosts a Farmers Market. Other special events held at the park include the Sidewalk Arts Festival in April, the Savannah Jazz Festival in September, the Picnic in the Park concert by the Savannah Philharmonic Orchestra in October, and the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon in November. The Historic District South has antebellum mansions, Spanish moss-laden oaks, shopping, and dining.

The Red Door Estate on Monterey is a traditional house with a living room, a second seating area, two kitchens, six bedrooms, the ability to sleep 12, and five and a half bathrooms, the Red Door Estate on Monterey can be shared by two families or other groups. This provides more time to spend together than renting two Savannah vacation rentals.
The large, entry-level living room features double glass doors for privacy, a fireplace, and two floor-to-ceiling windows for plenty of light. With two sofas and two straight chairs, there is plenty of seating. A long coffee table provides a place to sit your food and drinks. A ceiling arch creates a visual divider between the living room and the dining room.
The dining room has a table that seats eight, a fireplace, and a large mirror. Two glass double doors shut off the dining room from other areas. The kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, dishwasher, breakfast bar with two stools, dishes, farmhouse sink, lots of counter and cupboard space, and a glass door to the patio.
A family room area beside the kitchen offers a sectional sofa, a large hassock, a large-screen TV, a TV stand, and extra cupboard space. Two sets of double glass doors lead out to the deck. Next to the dining room door is a door to the entry hall. The patio has a sofa, two chairs, and a table. There is a wooden stairway next to the deck and opposite the kitchen door leading down to a courtyard. The courtyard has four upholstered chairs, a coffee table, a wall fountain, and plants.
A half-bathroom downstairs is off of the entry hall and under the stairs. It has a toilet; a stand with towels; a pedestal-style, double sink; a mirror; a medicine cabinet; and a mirrored wall.
With six bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms, The Red Door Estate on Monterey sleeps 12 -- a large number among Savannah vacation homes. Four of the bedrooms have king beds, and two have queen beds.
The first bedroom has a bed, two armoires, a dresser, a nightstand, desk, and fireplace. It has two sofas, two upholstered chairs, a table, a coffee table, shelving, and a fireplace. The fifth bedroom off the sitting area has a bed, dresser, nightstand, two chairs, luggage rack, and a fireplace. The sixth bedroom has a bed, dresser, large-screen TV, stand, chair, luggage rack, and glass double doors to a balcony with a table and two chairs. The bathroom has a sink, toilet, and walk-in shower. The second kitchen beside the laundry area provides a stove, refrigerator, sink, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster, dishes, and cupboard space.

Southern Belle Pool
Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located on Tybee Island. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island. The Pool is open during the below dates and times.
March 1- Oct 31, Open 7 days a week from 10am-5pm
November 1 - February 28, Open Friday and Saturday from 10am-5pm
Additional Pool Hours available during the off-season are listed below. If these dates fall in the middle of the week, the pool will be open as listed below and every Friday and Saturday.

If you would like to bring along your dog(s) during your stay, we do have some pet-friendly properties allowing up to 2 dogs and the total weight cannot exceed 50lbs for a pet fee of $130. This notice is not an indication the home you are currently viewing is pet-friendly.
Long-Term Stays
For our long-term stays, 30 days or more, we require a deposit and our office will reach out to you for details. For 60 days or more long-term stays, we require an additional clean.
