This was our first trip to Michigan, specifically Sault Ste Marie and we can’t wait to come back, and I would highly recommend the Adobe Lockvirw Motel. Our room was clean, comfortable and charming. A very comfortable bed and the nicest, friendliest staff that made our stay just wonderful. Located in the downtown area, right by the Soo Locks and across the bridge from Canada. Sitting right on the St. Mary’s river gave us a beautiful place to stroll before we went for coffee. On a scale of 1-10 I give it an 11. Will be staying here again!

Since I was only staying for one night and the main reason was to show my guests the Soo Locks,, this hotel was close and convenient. The rooms were clean and suit our needs.

Adoba is a friendly and safe place to stay that is conveniently located across from the Soo Locks. The bathroom is a bit crunched, but the room and beds were comfy. This is not a fancy place, but it met our needs.

We stayed for 3 nights here. The first night we were in a room where the AC was right above the bed and it was not properly sealed. The following morning we were moved to a much better room (right beside the office) that was quite comfortable. The bathroom was a bit tiny but the room was large. Breakfast was plentiful and they had a person making sure everything was in order. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Location and check in were very good. The room was poor with the thermostat broken, poor lighting, sink drain plugged, no room on one side of bed for entry, only one chair, no room on bathroom sink for toiletries . Very poor value for the cost. We will not stay here again and don’t recommend.

This is really more of a motel than a hotel. The big heads-up is that the office closes at 9pm and if you're arriving later you will want to reach out to the staff to make sure you have your room number and code, and that you take care of any paperwork when they're open. The staff was very pleasant to deal with. The room had a very charming nautical theme and it was in better condition than I expected. But it's not that well soundproofed. The motel is in an excellent location if you're going to see the locks, or head to Canada, but otherwise there's not much in the immediate area, which was eerily dark and gloomy at night.

I liked the room, cute and clean. It is located close to town and campus. Great rate. Our refrigerator was leaking was the only downside.
