This was a fantastic location for stepping across the street to the park and visitor center along the locks. Parking was so easy and, puts you right in front of your motel room door! Friendly staff at the office/breakfast room.

It is in the perfect spot right across the street from the Soo Lock observation deck. Nestled In the middle of the cute shops. The staff was very friendly. It is an older motel with a nostalgic feel and very clean. It also has a nice breakfast with sausage gravy. I will definitely stay here again.

Small room.
The room was clean, bed comfortable but beware, our queen size room was so small, no room for luggage or a place to hang clothes. Did have refrig, microwave, tv, and a one cup coffee maker. And overpriced. Good location for the locks.

The location is stellar. They have improved the rooms since our last stay in 2020. The fluorescent lighting is not optimal. There was black mold growing on the shower tiles in our room 238 which I reported as we checked out. Would stay here again.
