This is a Onsen in a quiet area of Sasebo which hosts mainly Weddings. However it is in a great area if you which to explore the 99 Island Marine national park.

I knew this was an older hotel because I researched online before I booked and was not expecting a brand new facility. We came to bring my Mom to visit her hometown and booked two rooms. Each room had a minor issue which was immediately remediated by the staff with such courtesy and attention that clearly demonstrated their commitment to service and their patrons. This high-end service continued until the moment we said goodbye. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel if you value service and attention to detail.

Great location near the island chain
Great location near the island chain. Staff was friendly and for the most part accommodating. Room/bed/bathroom size smaller than expected, but we spent most of the time exploring this interesting part of Japan anyway, so it wasnt a deal breaker for us. Breakfast buffet was really good. Shuttles to the main part of town.

Excellent Stay
The staff is very nice and accommodating and the rooms are clean and simple. I get the Japanese style room for more space. The breakfast is very good as well. I say here every time I visit Sasebo!

Good for dinning but not lodging.
Exterior was nice but bedroom condition was not kept well. The bed was uncomfortable and felt dirty somehow. The service was kind and dinner was tasty.

Needs improvement
Was given a lower room category than what we paid for. Luckily, the man at the reception understood my concern and upgraded us which was good. Had to pay 150 yen per head even if you didn't use onsen. Breakfast was not good. The hotel looks a lot better on the photos here than in actual.

Great room and service
Definitely worth your money. Super convenient to local aquarium and really good restaurants. WiFi is available in the room as they note on their page. I did not use the spa but it looked really nice. If you’re looking for a room to relax away from sailor town this is it.

Don't Stay At This Hotel
The hotel was very old and not kept up very well. You can clearly hear people walking and talking up and down the halls and in the next room. The beds are not comfortable and the pillows are a joke. The absolute worst was at checkout, we were told we had to pay for the spa service that we never used. I refused and spent the next 30 minutes explaining why.
