Hotel needs lots of TLC
Room was in “OK” condition hotel was not, needs lots of TLC. Staff was “friendly” but definitely were under staffed. Breakfast was ok.

This was my second stay at this property, and it was even worse. I only chose this place because is literally across the street from my daughters college. This time around the elevator wasn’t working during the entire weekend (it wasn’t fixed at all) the hallways were a mess, and the rooms were worse! The staff was friendly and did the best they could to accommodate us. But again, the hotel definitely needs lots of work… you would think it will be in better shape!

Nothing like any other La Quinta I have ever stayed in. Wallpaper coming off the walls. 2 exits leading to outside closed off for use. Dogs barking across the hall from my room. Coffee in breakfast area cold. Was scheduled for 4 nights but stayed one then got the hell outta this place but was still charged 4 nights pet deposit. As I was loading up my car I noticed a pretty rough looking guy digging thru the dumpster. Very subpar area and room.

Very unprofessional staff, rooms are not even that good. Stayed there for 3 nights and no room service. No one came to cleaned and change sheets. We asked for new towels and one staff said she can’t give us towels. Oh and it’s smelly, very smelly. This place does not even deserve one star, it deserves zero

This has been one of the best hotels ive stayed at since ive started traveling. The lobby was beautiful, rooms were clean and large and the bathrooms were clean and upkept. We had fresh soap and towels every day and were always greeted by staff with a smile. On top of the amazing room and staff, the breakfast that was included was amazing, the waffles really took the cake, if ever in the area again, ill be booking Wyndham.

Roaches!!!!!!!!!
ROACHES IN MY ROOM! We were there for less than 10 hours. It was a last minute stay since we didn’t want to drive home after the beach. The only good thing was the older gentleman that checked us in. Roaches construction noises and garbage everywhere, NOT CLEAN AT ALL. It was a terrible experience.

It's a little jewel minutes away from anywhere in Sarasota. Comfortable stay, clean rooms, great room service, and a healthy/hefty breakfast. Their delightful home-away-from-home service is the key to their success. It starts with their friendly manager and extends to his courteous staff. We will visit again!
