The staff were friendly and helpful always. Rooms are a little small as is common for hotels in Japan, but the amenities were excellent. Everything is as described in their listing, and often better. Among many similar hotels with a great downtown location close to trains and buses, Richmond Hotel Sapporo Ekimae holds its own!

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Plenty of amenities were available. The location is convenient- about 10 minutes walk from the JR Sapporo Station, and many restaurants and sightseeing places within walking distance. There are a few options for breakfast which were all delicious to me. They have a bigger menu for lunch and dinner, but unfortunately smoking was allowed in the restaurant during lunch/dinner time. Coin laundry machines were available, washer/dryer two in one, and the dryer was basically not functioning.

Would recommend to my friends.
This is the second time we stayed here. Last time 5 years ago. The hotel is convenient for catching the subway. Elevator from sapporo station (exit) 24 is one street light away. We walked underground 90 % of the time. Odori park is on stop away. Susukino is two stops. Underground tunnels get you to pole town or Aurora . Front desk people were excellent and polite. Microwave and washer available.

Very good location and staff are friendly and good Service. The hotel provided all the necessary amenities including facial mask. The airport bus stop is just 2-3 mins walks, which is easy for luggage. The exit with elevator is also 2-3 mins walk, super convenient. Will definitely stay here again if we coming back to sapporo.

great view out the window. very comfortable stay and convenient location (once you find the correct subway exit: less than 2min walk from exit 21 at Sapporo station on the Toho line). a spacious room and toilet, and delicious dripbag coffee. heating indoors was kinda overpowered.

Conveniently located right by Sapporo Station, hotel was easily accessible with a short walk from the airport limousine stop nearby as well. Staff was kind and efficient. Rooms reasonably sized and were kept immaculately clean.
