Ceilings way too low
Given the price it is the worst hotel I've probably ever stayed at for the simple reason that the ceiling in the room is absurdly low with white paint, bad lighting, and no warning sign or verbal warning so I hit my head multiple times even though I'm only average height at 5'10" which is ridiculous. I also submitted hotels.com feedback about this but they didn't followup nor was I offered an upgrade or spa discount like I think I was maybe supposed to be given my hotels.com status. Housekeeping also wasn't perfect but not a big problem. The low ceiling is a huge problem and made the stay very uncomfortable.

I thought it was exclusive but it wasn’t there was staff going back and forth our hotel. One of the staff was stirring next to our pool gazing at the view and quickly stood up when I came in. Didn’t feel our place, was uncomfortable using our private pool because strangers going back and forth and loud banging noises when tried to take a nap.

Great hotel, fantastic staff. Sophia at front desk and Vasilli come to mind. But they were all great. Loved the jacuzzi tube in front of our room overlooking the caldera:) suite 6, more private than others:) best part they had an elevator to bypass a number of steps! Great location. Really a great stay. They couldn’t do enough for us!

We had high expectation of this prestigious hotel. However, The best part of the experience was only airport shuttle service, luggage staff, and also the Botrini restaurant in the hotel. Everything else fell short of a 5 star hotel standard. The concierge was luke warm when we asked for recommendations. The hand wash bottle dispenser in the room was not even refilled upon we got into the room. The hotel provides one large bottle of water for free per day. I asked for a new one in the morning and I was asked to wait till the evening, as evening is the only time for free replenishment. After two nights, we moved to a second hotel nearby, though only 3.5 star hotel, it was a fantastic experience, better room, better view, better service, better rate.... In a nut shell, will not stay at Katikies Santorini hotel again and do not recommend it.
