I am getting emotional just thinking about the amazing time my wife and I had at this wonderful place. The staff was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious. The views, oh my god, the views of the sunsets were incredible.

Room was clean and staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast was really good and with different options. Shower was small but clean and the view at the caldera was a plus. Near to the bus to go to Oía. I will stay here again.

Aigialos was a perfect dream. The views of the Caldera from our personal balcony was amazing. We could see 180 degrees all the way to Oia. We had 2 church domes right in front of us and could see life go on down below. Easily walkable to all the excitement in Fira, lots of restaurants and shops to keep you fed and busy for a days. We had the ambassador’s suit so we had plenty of room for my family of 4. Bathrooms were big and had 1/2 bath as well. We had breakfast brought to our balcony each day, where we could enjoy our morning meal with the surreal view. I would say it’s better the Oia as you can see the sunset from your balcony as in Oia you have to be on the western slope to see it. Also Oia is much more expensive for food and shopping.

The perfect respite for a bustling boardwalk area of Santorini. Staff was so helpful and the view delivered. Loved our room with space for a family of four. Definitely wanted ti stay longer… guess we will just have to come back.

Aigialos Luxury Traditional Settlement deserves more than 5 stars. This was the best experience we’ve ever had with any hotel. From the moment we stepped foot on their property, we were so impressed. Their staff and porter worked with our driver to assure our luggage was brought to our room as soon as we were dropped off. We were greeted and made to feel so welcome - the staff was so friendly and helpful, and we received a welcome drink and a bottle of wine upon arrival. Everyone made sure we were always comfortable and taken care of. The room itself was amazing. We had a spectacular view of the caldera & had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious made to order breakfast each morning on our balcony. Also, while there were some stairs involved in getting to the hotel, it wasn’t too many at all and was one of the easier hotels to access in Fira. We will definitely come back and stay here!

The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly providing suggestions on locations to visit during my stay and checking on my day when making it back to the hotel. I would suggest letting them book your transfer to and from the port to avoid being ripped off by the locals at the port

This small(15 rooms/suites) hotel is located on the edge of the caldera, with spectacular views. The rooms are comfortable and decorated appropriately (secularly) for a beautifully converted former religious residence. The included in-room full breakfast was excellent; and was an especially enjoyable way to take in the unobstructed view from the private terrace. The staff is attentive, and had good advice on things to do and places to dine all over the island. They added a lot to our enjoyment of our stay. One caution: there are steps to climb to get to most rooms; and the short walk to the shops and restaurants of Thira includes a bit of a climb (but not too much for a couple of 70 non-atheletes). Taxis do not pull up to the hotel, due to restricted access to the edge of the caldera. (Not to worry about hauling luggage — the hotel staff cheerfully attended to that chore, and getting it to and from taxis.) We loved our stay Aigialos, and recommend it enthusiastically.
