Great historical hotel. Beautiful setting. The rooms are very comfortable. Worth spending the time exploring the historical complex. There arenā€™t any restaurants near by but the hotel has a good restaurant on site. Overall, we had a very nice stay.

I am not sure where the hotel gets its rating from. The front desk staff is a tough one to call. One person was just angry every time we interacted, another was an angel, a third was indifferent. The physical property is far below a four star standard, but it is adequate overall. There is no parking associated with the hotel. Not even a place to pull you car into to drop your bags off or load them in when you are leaving. Staff was absolutely no help here. The only thing going for the hotel is its location. If you stay here, make sure it is at a steep discount.

The property is not too far from the Santiago Cathedral, and convenient to many walkable restaurants. The staff was professional. The hotel has a spa in the basement {at a fee}. It was a nice last stop after walking the Camino de Santiago.

Elegant, good value hotel with comfortable rooms. Hotel is ln great location being next to one of the "gates" of the old city. Travelling as a family, we were happy that they allocated us adjoining rooms. Breakfast was wholesome. Check in were very attentive.
