Pleasantly surprised!
I grew up in west Sonoma county and went back for a get together with friends from about 45 years ago. The room and everything about it was a pleasant surprise. It was everything anyone could want in a motel and staff was pleasant the two times I interacted with them. I would stay there again without hesitation and likely will the next time I am in the area. The cost of the room made me think I would end up with a much lower quality but I have paid double for lesser rooms. The unstated advantage was Costco is about a block away so you can get anything you want nearby including cheap fuel. Wow!
