Nice oasis in Solvang
Although it is an older facility, it has been updated nicely. Received a surprising upgrade to the Alma Rosa suite, enjoyed that very much. 3 night stay, did not eat here but the V lounge was great for a nightcap each evening with attentive and knowledgeable bartenders. Hot tub was small but relaxing after a day of golf or wine tasting.

Overall it was okay. The room was just a little odd. It looks like it was recently renovated and some of the work looked very patchy. The cleanliness also didn’t seem up to par. There were some stains on the sofa and saw some sunflower seeds on the floor. And housekeeping didn’t stop by during our stay. It was disappointing to return to an unmade bed. :(

Wonderful, quite, clean property located at the end of the main street. It is steps away from Paula’s pancake house and the Olsen Bakery. One note is they dont seem to come into the room daily to be aware of (I wanted a change in towels and through them on the floor thinking someone would be in to clean but no one came in— no biggie just know to ask staff downstairs). Staff downstairs was helpful in providing fresh towels and giving me some toothbrushes when I realized I forgot mine. Would stay again!

This is a remodeled hotel from old property and you can see it in the hallways… the wifi wasnt great, kept getting interrupted and you had to reenter the password… the pool is tiny, which we werent expecting from the pictures… no area to seat outside, no lounge inside beside at the bar… a bit expensive for what you get…

Yes for Vinland Hotel
The reception agent - Thor- was very friendly, and accommodating. We arrived early and were expecting two other friends to check in later that day. He did everything to ensure we could be in rooms that are not too far from each other. He was also very kind and accommodated my husband's request fro an extra blanket in the evening. The room was quiet and clean. The parking situation was also quite good.

We had a little trouble with the air conditioner and the maintenance man was there right away. He said it would be best if we moved to a different room. The desk clerk got us a key right away and asked if we wanted help moving our things. The staff was not only helpful and efficient they were so very nice. We look forward to visiting again:)
