Nice staff, horrible bed
We only stayed for 2 nights, and were away during the day. The person at check in was nice. One of the bed in the room was horrible. It was mushy and seemed to collapsed in the middle. It was ok for 2 nights, but I couldn't stay longer. If you're looking to stay in downtown SB, this is not walkable to downtown.

Bed doesn't stay at its location. It drift away from headboard when you sit on bed. Upholstery fabric of the only chair in room is broken. Noise from outside can be clearly heard in room.

Great price in a nice area!
The stay was adequate to our needs. The room had a working Tv, microwave, and fridge which was nice. The employee at the front desk wouldn’t let my boyfriend pay because he had charged the room to my card I used for the reservation before I even checked-in even though the reservation said pay on arrival which was a bit odd. Overall the room was very nice and clean and the stay was pleasant. The price for the room was very reasonable.

The person who was working the day we checked in was not friendly and came off very rude. The sheets had stains and then and the floor was really dirty. Motel 6 is so much better than this place

The room we booked was unavailable ehen we arrived so the owner upgraded our room to a suite. Staff was very friendly, kind & accommodating. They keep the property looking nice. The facility is small, but clean. Nice, Quaint & simple. The rooms did not smell of smoke but people were smoking in the parking lot. I am not a smoker so it was noticeable to me. That is no reflection on the proprty or it's owner though. Thank you for your kind accomodations.

This place was nice and worked for what we needed. I wouldn't say it was excellent as some reviews have. The location is good. Central and lots of food options and close to downtown. The building is old and could use more aesthetic work to improve the look (paint, fill in cracks). The room was decent. Looks like they updated them. The bathroom was nice but it was small. There's no counter space to put your stuff so I had to put my essentials on the toilet tank. The rooms could also use a additional mirror outside of the bathroom. And the furniture could be updated. Parking is tight. There's only 1 spot for each unit and then couple extra. Street parking limited as well because it's nestled between residential and some office buildings. So if you have an additional car, it will have to be parked on the street. The people were very nice. All in all though it was a very nice place to stay for the price.
