Ideally located for a coastal getaway, the Santa Cruz Suite offers a delightful second-floor perch, only a couple minutes' walk from the famous shores of sun-drenched East Beach. In a small oceanside complex, amenities include a sunny communal area with outdoor dining tables, lounge chairs, benches, and a barbeque grill. Your vacation rental is just one block from the golden sands of stunning East Beach, a block from the waterfront shuttle, and a bike path along the beachfront. Enjoy the laid-back vibe in downtown Santa Barbara, and head the same distance to Stearns Wharf for shopping, dining, fishing, or simply enjoying the salty breeze and incredible ocean views. This home is walkable to tasting sessions at Sanguis Winery, and local shops and eateries are even closer.

A wall of windows floods the sitting area with natural light. A decorative electric fireplace adds a tranquil ambience. A twin daybed with a twin trundle below can be used for additional sleeping space. The unit includes a mini-refrigerator and freezer, microwave, and coffee maker. French doors lead into the bedroom, where a California king bed lets you sleep like royalty. A comfy armchair offers a pleasant spot to read, and a 32-inch TV awaits for movie nights.

This vacation home is part of an older historical building, and noise may be heard from adjacent units.
This home is located near the train tracks (all Santa Barbara beachfront property shares this feature) and the 101 freeway. Earplugs are provided for those sensitive to noise while sleeping.
Although this home is not equipped with air-conditioning, it is rarely needed with the mild summer temperatures at the beach. A ceiling fan ensures a pleasant breeze.
Elevators are not available.

Little getaway
We enjoyed our three night stay in the charming and bright unit. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. Short drive to the wharf and to grocery stores. The unit was clean and the main bed was comfy. The sheets need replacing though. They were pilling. The trains are loud and the walls are thin. It didn’t bother us at all, but can understand that some may not like the noise. I remember that the description disclosed the proximity to the train tracks. There was tea and coffee provided but no filters so could not use the coffee maker. There was only one spoon in the whole unit. Eventually, we found 2 more that fell under the kitchen cart. Bathroom was very nice and just what we needed. I liked the toiletries provided. Outdoor eating area was available although we did not have time to enjoy it. Parking in the back was easy! Overall, great value and very nice location.

Very comfortable
We were in SB to visit family over Christmas and stayed here. The rooms are decent sized and the bed was very comfortable. It was a little cooler outside so we didn’t open the windows and can’t comment on traffic noise. We heard the train a few times but not very loudly. The location near the beach was very convenient.

Cozy little place
The Santa Cruz suite was nice. The bathroom was clean, pretty quiet. We had two cars but parking on the street wasn't an issue for the second car. Although not the property managements fault some lady said I stole her spot in the back I informed her there are no assigned spots. The location was great just a quick 10 minute walk to the beach. And about a 45 minute walk to the downtown area. I'd probably stay here again.

Short visit in Santa Barbara
The location of this property was the main reason we chose it, nice and close to the beach. It was clean, but floors were unlevel, especially in the bedroom where the head of the bed seemed lower than the foot of the bed. And there was a 10 digit code to unlock/ lock the door to the room which was very cumbersome /bothersome every time we left and came back. Not sure we would stay here again as the cons probably outweighed the pros.
