Tae at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly when we arrived to check in. While our room was facing the main street, we didn’t hear a thing, which was nice after a long day and needing a good night’s rest before a long drive the next morning.

Good location in Old Town Goleta. Within walking distance of good restaurants and some shopping. Worth saving a little money away from State St and Downtown to be closer to where real Santa Barabarans live.

This was a great hotel for the price because we were staying by the airport because we had to pick someone up and drop someone off. The only complaint that I have for this hotel is the shower door. It’s a song sliding railing door that anybody can open and shove by besides that the beds were awesome. The pillows were OK I had to bring my own just in case mom everyone besides, that was awesome.

First time stay here and we had our small dog. Staff was very friendly throughout our stay, and accommodated my request for a top floor quiet room. If there was anything that wasn’t ideal, it would be the every other day housekeeping. Perhaps that’s normal these days, but we prefer it every day. Trash piles up easily in a day, and it’s nice to have fresh towels (which we did request and receive). Overall, I’m pleased and would return. Our doggie enjoyed the stay, too. There are nice paths around the hotel for the dog walks, and the outdoor areas are kept tidy/clean.

The first night I found a tick on my arm. It was late and we were very tired, we asked to be change to another room that was not pet friendly but we were told that all the rooms were pet friendly, they did change us to another room that was in better condition because the first one the bathroom door was broken. I chated with a virtual agent from Hotel.com requesting to please allow us to change to another hotel for our second night night, and the response was that the hotel manager from Hampton Inn would be in contact with us, but no one reached out to us. One of the girl at the front desk was not not friendly at all. I think her name was Sandra. I am so dissapointed with Hampton Inn and also with Hotel.com that I have decided after all these years planning our vacation and booking hotels through them I would not longer use it.
