It’s was not at ALL like the pictures displayed on hotels .com! Those pictures must have been taken from the official red roof inn site and posted to Hotels.com by the owners of this location. It’s locally owed and operated. I spent one night on my trip to see my family in Sanford Nc & I was 4 hours from home and had my emotional support pup with me, and had I not only had to spend 20$ out of pocket because of one key cash I earned I would not have stayed at ALL!! I booked a king non smoking room pet friendly room. The fist river I was given was smoking double room bed and the top decrotive bed topper had burn holes all in the top, I went back told the clerk the Burned linens were not going work!! So she moved me to the room I booked. Which was a king non smoking, it was better but this hotel lets people rent weekly month & family told me it was a high drug and crime in that hotel going on. I saw 3 cops as I pulled up an unmarked,.& 2 SUVs parked that night 3
Patrolled the area, and 1 patrolled the next morning. It said the rooms had been renovated in 2024, not true it’s 2 concrete
Buildings with 2 floors no elevator. Rooms have been painted. I clean condos, beach cottages, and mansions on the beach in North Myrtle beach, cherry grove, Murrells Inlet SC. There’s no way I would have rented this to stay in!! I had to borrow blankets from my mom to sleep with while there. The sheets were clean and bed is comfortable. The check in girl was very polite! Not stay again
