Front desk male was not friendly, kinda put out that questions were asked of him. Didnt feel welcomed by him at all. Not a good first impression. Room definately needs upgraded, smelly, old carpets, beds, table and chairs were from the 70s. TV was horrible with few channels and shoddy reception. Horrible local channel clarity. Was advised it was a walk-in shower for accessability, but was just a low tub. Prolly wont stay here again and would only recommend because of the view.

Nice couples get away. I would love to bring the kids back. The beach was so close. The kids would have loved to walk in the beach with the rock and see the elephant seals.

Beautiful location but I did see a couple of things wrong with my room. There was a hair in the tub. The carpet needed a good vacuum because in the corner of the room there was dust bunnies.

Beachfront access was very nice. Pools very quiet. Staff friendly and responsive. Outdoor areas were cluttered with people. Couldn’t be certain but it seemed like people from other hotels were using the area. That should be monitored and restricted. Also, ants were a real problem. They got in to everything, any little piece of food or leftovers in the room would get covered in ants. Lastly, asked for late checkout and was denied. Amy’s caused problems for me and needed extra time to kind of get ready but was told no grace would be offered. I honestly did not understand this as I was leaving same day and time as everyone. There’s no possible way the place was getting full again on a Monday Labor Day evening.

Can't figure out why this place is considered a resort. The carpet and chairs are filthy. The robes felt like sandpaper. The TV was blurry. The only thing good about the room was the view but we could have got the same view and cleaner room at another hotel for alot less money. Will not say here again and will not recommend. Wayyyy too expensive for the quality. Its too bad the website pictures are deceiving.
