4 days in paradise at Casa de Mar
The property was beautiful and CLEAN! Amazing surprise, when we went to breakfast, the cleaning crew was alerted that we were out of the room and to go in and clean in our absence--we always came back to a sparkling room. Every night there was a driver available if we wanted to go off property to one of the surrounding fabulous restaurants. Everyone so good natured. David De Paz and the staff made sure that every detail was taken care of. The 4 of us had a wonderful stay (2 rooms) and look forward to another return.

We have a lovely stay here. El Tunco is about 10 minutes walked down the beach. Friendly staff and beautiful view in the mornings.

We really enjoyed Casa de Mar. The location is amazing for your surf session right out front. You can easily walk to El Tunco for lunch and shopping. I had a great yoga session on the upper deck! Definately the surf and yoga were highlights. You have two choices of places to enjoy your meals as well. Really enjoyed our stay!

Not worth the price at all. Very worn down property (nothing like the pictures here). Bed and couch were the most uncomfortable I’ve ever experienced at a hotel and couldn’t even get a good nights sleep

This place is PHENOM! We wanted to be close to the action of El Tunco but not in the middle of the party and this was perfect. So perfect and the staff is wonderful! We were always treated like kings! The area is great and so easy to walk to Tunco and to close locations! The pool is also very central to the property!

From the moment we arrived, we were treated so kindly and promptly. ALL of the staff were very attentive and went above and beyond to keep us smiling. The food was delicious! You must try the Tropical Ceviche! Delicious! The hotel provided transportation to and from El Tunco beach/boardwalk which is only minutes away from the nightlife. The hotel was quiet, clean, and comfortable. I stayed in Villa #2. Beautiful view of the ocean and pool. I can’t wait to come back! Muchisimas gracias!

The staff was amazing. Great surf location. Wish there was an easier walk to El Tunco. Very difficult to walk to on the rocky beach during low tide and near impossible during high tide.
