The moment I entered the room, I noticed a strong, musty odor that made it difficult to relax. It became clear that the room was excessively humid, which only exacerbated the smell. Despite my attempts to air out the room, the odor persisted throughout my stay. The humidity also made the bedding feel damp and uncomfortable, which significantly impacted my ability to sleep. I reported the issue to the front desk, but the staff's response was less than satisfactory, and no effective solution was offered. I hope the management takes steps to address these problems for future guests.

Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely balcony where we could sit and relax. The staff were absolutely wonderful and very friendly. Loved having the option of using the pool or walking right out to the beach. Will definitely be back again!

The resort was nice the only problem was that my room had a horrible mildew smell we complained they sent a maintenance guy to change an air filter but that didn’t help at all. Room felt damp and sticky for the amount of money they charge they should do something about the 6th floor.

Beautiful view of the ocean. It was like a dream come true with a great staff. Hilton took care of our room and made sure we had a towel character waiting in our for a whimsical touch. The staff ensured we had a great vacation to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The beach and pool were great too.

Overpriced for what you get. The rooms are old and dirty. The service is very slow, overpriced and poor. The food is the worst. The Fairmount is a much better hotel and 1 min away.

Stayed at the sonesta for 7 days and 6 nights. The first night we arrived we were issued an unclean room. Towels with hair in them, hair balls around the bed and also a stain in the shower that resembled a tampon and string. I was so tired and frustrated I did not ask for a different room. I let the front desk know and nothing was done. No money off or apologies. I confirmed the room was not cleaned because after the first night, housekeeping came and the stain in the shower had disappeared, but the hair around the bed was still there. Fast forward to the last 2 nights of my stay my entire body is covered in bed bug bites!!!!! I can’t stop itching and scratching! Differently will be staying elsewhere if I decide to come back to PR. The experience for the price was not worth it. I was disappointed that this is what my birthday trip consisted of. Also they said they did not have laundry services which was super inconvenient since we stayed for 7 days.

Beautiful property. Great staff especially our room attendant Hilton!! Food and drinks were very expensive at the hotel but it was nice to have wait staff working the pool and beach area. The billing statement was very confusing with the resort fee and the $100. Fee charged to your room each day. I had asked to have my bill split between 2 credit cards and that wasn’t done correctly. That was my only complaint.

Excellent rooms, pool, and beach. Beautiful hotel grounds and very pleasant service. Great drinks at all bars, but really pricy (47 plus tip for two simple cocktails??). Needs more entertainment... a lounge with live music, a club, something like that.
