Travel with partner. Great location to Old San Juan. Clean , affordable., walkable to cafes and restaurants My only complaint was no chair in room and on our last morning there was no hot water in our bathroom. Front office staff was amazing. We would return.

The hotel itself was wonderful! The staff was very helpful with their assistance and courteous. The hotel room was spacious and clean. The hotel was in walking distance of many eateries and a food mart. Although the neighboring building was questionable with garbage strewn in front, I felt safe and would stay there again. The top floor view was lovely too. :)

Our stay at the "MetroArt Hotel" was utterly disappointing. No parking anywhere, no breakfast. The room was incredibly small with NO microwave, NO hair dryer, NO night stands nor telephone to call down (the reception); when you ask to get your room cleaned, the cleaning crew only change your towels and made your bed with the same stained sheets, a dusty floor, and a bathroom that clearly hadn't been properly cleaned. The staff were okay but seemed completely uninterested in addressing our concerns as one of them promised us a microwave in our room, nothing was done the whole week. My partner and I weren't happy until the end. Avoid this hotel at all costs.".

Friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately the lobby reeked of smoke and mold, and our room was not clean- big clump of hair in the shower drain, dirt and dust on bathroom floors. I value cleanliness so I would not stay again.

I initially risked staying here based off of the decent reviews. I typically don't leave negative reviews, but this place deserves one. Would I stay here again or recommend this property, "NO". We stayed for 5 nights at this boutique hotel and customer service was terrible at night. Loose trash was all over the ground outside front door. At check in, staff did not explain the amenities or any information to make my stay worthwhile. Not the biggest dealbreaker, but I was only given one room key for 2 guest. We ended up getting a second one a few days later because it was inconvenient when we wanted to venture off separately. The hotel was so short staff that we were told that housekeeping was limited and they could only clean rooms for incoming customers. We had to go down to the front desk for towels everyday and no one came to our room for our dirty ones. The best thing about this hotel is the location. Uber's were reasonable and hot spots were in walking distance. I would mention that the hotel coffee machine beside the elevator brewed pretty good drinks, but the machine broke down on my 2nd day and was not repaired. Rooftop Jacuzzi's were dirty with debris and clearly not cleaned regularly. There are no room phones at all so you literally have to use your own phone just to call downstairs to ask general questions. King size mattress was mediocre and the hotel is on a noisy busy road. There are plenty of hotels around this location. Don't waste your money on this place!

To start, this was a decent hotel. I enjoyed staying here minus a few semi minor things. The bathroom was dirty toilet was dirty around the corners and so was the floors. The couch in the room was extremely nasty and I would not allow any of my girls or myself to sit on it. The staff, very limited but extremely friendly and willing to help.Both hot tubs could use a good cleaning as well with more privacy from the neighboring apartment complex. The lobby area is very tight but the free hot coffee options, water, and hot chocolate made up for this. Our room for a family of four was HUGE! We did enjoy that we had a microwave and fridge. The beds are comfy and I would stay again but ask for a room that was cleaned to my liking.
