Overall the hotel was nice but the room was very disappointing and outdated. The carpet had a musty smell so we purchased febreeze air fresheners for the room to get rid of the smell. They did refund us a night due to the air conditioning not working which was hospitable of them. Very lovely resort and beach access was awesome.

Property is beautiful literally has everything on this resort, staff was very friendly. The issues we had was the second day of our 5 day trip ac stopped working in the rooms for 2 days that sucked… Also on our floor work was being done so a lot of noise/ banging… Hate to be that person to complain but I did mention some of our concerns and we were given free breakfast for 2 mornings… Everyone at the pool were talking about they’re upgrades for the inconvenience of the ac’s being out in the hotel which were upgraded to villas or suites guess we weren’t so lucky.

Hotel stay was awesome. Rooms were clean. Pools & beach food & drinks service was a plus. Cool entertainment vibe for everyone. Just 15 min to El Viejo San Juan.

I’mso disappointed on the place. The check in and the welcoming was the worst thing I ever experienced. The girl at the check in asked for my id and credit card. Runs the credit card without explaining what she was doing.we didn’t even heard a welcome word. Gave us keys. Bed and pillows were in the worst condition. Like you’re sleeping on the floor. They changed the room but I bet all the beds at that resort are very bad hard and you can see that they weren’t updated for a long time. Over all, I spent a week there. It was my yearly vacation. I wish I didn’t stay at this place. Paid a lot for that week however it was all a disappointment.

Our stay at Fairmont was good. The lobby area is very nice and entertaining at night. The pool area is clean and my kids enjoyed it. The rooms were good with minor things i would improve on. For example we rented two rooms and the items were not the same. One room had a flashlight and one did not. One room had a tea kettle and one did not. Power did go out a few times during our stay, but came back within seconds each time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Whole stay there was poorly planned on my part so actually only booked for one night and due to weather and even a typo on my boarding pass , I only got there at 3am and had to check out the next morning. The desk agent told me I could leave my bag with porter and enjoy surroundings a bit after my check out and I found everything beautiful, exciting and the beach totally rejuvenating. Lifted my spirits which were very down from how things were starting. Much appreciated!

We came during storm Ernesto. Everything at practically closed. The restaurant the meatery was supposed to be their best place to eat. Had a waiter named Hector waiting on us. Very unfriendly and would sigh when speaking to us. War purposely jipping us out of 6 oz of wine be bringing back the other 3 oz that we on the tray back to the bar area. Spoke to another waiter and confirmed that was ours. Other waiter brought it back for us. No excuse to do such a thing. Also resort charged all resort fees even though all of the restaurants and places inside were closed. Couldn't wait to leave. Staff overall had no sense of urgency. Not friendly. Not worth staying here. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at
