Good for what you pay in San Jose
The owner and the staff are awesome. The room is excellent for what you pay. But the building is old and not renovated. The hotel is very secure. It has air conditioning and room cleaning every day. The cleaning staff is also very good. Thanks for mat the owner for welcoming guests with friendliness. I would like to stay again whenever I have a chance.

Budget value
Older building is why 3 stars. Great staff and helpful. Area is secure even at night for walking and has Sportsman bar/hotel a block away. Great value for budget minded person. There is a dermatology and foot doctor clinic around the corner on backside of hotel which I used. Hotel taxi to airport about 23 dollars.

Goodluck getting a goodnight sleep here...
Overall the hotel was pretty good but then night happens. They have a steakhouse/bar inhouse which stays open late and guests are as loud as they can be and none seems to get it under control. Major part is other guests being rude, disregarding others but hotel should also step in esp after midnight when people are being rowdy.
