SUPER sketchy area and noisy from our room. POOR customer service - the front desk guy barely even said hi, had his AirPods in the whole time we were checking in; didn’t give us any details about hotel’s breakfast or amenities or anything. They said parking was available for $30 but the lot was full - so we had to scramble last minute to find a place to park elsewhere and ended up having to pay $45 for that. So frustrating.

The room was nice, bed super comfortable, but they have limited parking spots, and you have to find a parking space in the street or they give you a list of parking garages you have to park and walk back to the hotel, at night can be dangerous. Staff super friendly, they offer breakfast. I think for the price it was fine.

I liked the hotel. It was clean and close to public transit. I don’t understand the amenity fee though. $20 a night. So $40 more for me. I think it’s kinda sneaky. Like just include it in the price, maybe there was a better option for $40 more I don’t understand the logic in charging it later.

Not my favorite, the bathroom didn’t look cleaned properly, and I wish there was a microwave! Parking situation wasn’t the best either, so i wouldn’t recommend bringing a car and staying here.

The first night we had mice in our room and they ate the cookies from our purse. We then were moved from that room into an occupied room by mistake and invaded another couple’s privacy. Parking was also very inconvenient as there was limited spots and if you parked somewhere else you had to pay double for the spot. Breakfast was very minimal. Only pastries and coffee.

the Garrett was wonderful, staff was so helpful, friendly and accommodating. The area around it was awful, no place to eat or go have a drink. People living on sidewalks all around the Garrett. I thought the hotel was wonderful, but would not stay again due to the surrounding area
