Don't do it!
Where do I even begin, this was by far the worst experience we've ever had renting a property. 1. The home looks nothing like the photos.2. The owner was still in the home when checking in after we communicated early checkin multiple times. 3. The home had a horrible smell to it that air freshener & candles couldn't fix.4. The linens were over used and also had a smell to them.***We flagged this the very first night in an attempt to cancel the remaining reservation and only pay for the first night but the owner refused our request as he mentioned he turned down other reservations to accommodate us and didn't want to take the chance on the home not being rebooked so we were stuck in an uncomfortable situation with no refund during All Star weekend. 5. The home was cold overall and needed heaters to keep the home warm.6. When using the heaters, the home owner contacted us directing us to not leave on the heaters over night or leave the shades open-Which then posed the question, how do you even know this unless you're reentering the property while we aren't there!? Very weird and uncomfortable feeling for myself and team. Overall, this was an experience to say the least.

Cozy family adventure.
Our family, all adults, had our own space and a clean and spacious kitchen in which to gather and cook our own breakfast each day. There was plenty of space in the living room for all to crash and watch Holiday Movies in the evenings. Easy and close parking.

Great Location
Location is great. Cons: Would be nice to have some towel racks in the bathroom for all of the towels. Dishes are rimmed with metal so they get hot around the edges if you put them in the microwave. Towels smelled like mold. Pros: Parking was easy. Neighborhood is nice. The little communication I had with the owner was fine. Close restaurants in walking distance. Parks right out the front door. Overall: Its fine if you need a place to stay, just can't be too picky. I'd stay there again as the location is great and we can handle a place that is rough around the edges.

Not clean
This property is in a good location to visit San Fransisco, but it was not clean and that was very disappointing. We arrived and noted that both bathrooms still had hair that was there prior to our arrival. It left us questioning the cleanliness of everything from the bedding to the floors. The lister was prompt in his communication, but we would never stay there again.

Communication is key
Reading the most recent reviews after already booking the property, to say we were apprehensive, is an understatement. Speaking with the host prior to our visit reinforced our concern. HOWEVER, we had 6 family members stay (3 under the age of 7) for two nights and it's a great property. Bathrooms aren't as advertised, BUT, definitely doable. Baking pans are scarce, so know that and bring your own, if needed. Communication with host after our first encounter was fantastic! He was agreeable and helpful for our stay. We were very appreciative.

Great SF house
My family flew in to SF and wanted to see the city for a few days. I was coming up from Monterey and chose emmanuels house. It had 3 bedrooms and plenty of parking. House was very clean. Kitchen was nice big and bright. Beds were amazing! So comfortable! I would highly recommend this house if you want to stay in the city but don’t want to deal with the headache of staying downtown and worry about parking.

The place smelled stale like moth balls - (bought scented candles to burn but they didn’t fix the issue. It’s pretty potent) counters were dirty. (I wiped them down) Hundreds of moths. Killed moths every morning when woke up and when we got back before bed. (Owner said he would exterminate while we where there - I said no as that would not be something I am staying in - so he said he was getting an exterminator after we leave - same day a new customer is arriving lol) I know this because I asked for a late check out for the inconvenience- he said no someone was coming to exterminate moths and new customers arriving for early check in this afternoon) No garbage bins or recycling bins in location so had to leave garbage in bags on the deck Place is not as shown online photos. Bath tub in main was painted! Old food still in the fridge from someone else’s previous stay. Cob webs all over the house. ( which over time I cleaned as we got tired of walking into them and seeing them) Spider webs in all the windows (which I cleaned out) None of the windows open. Seem to be painted shut. Gross film on all windows throughout house All the sheets and pillow cases smelled like dirty old dish rags when we arrived. (I went and bought some laundry detergent ( washed them my self) Highly do not recommend this place!

Do not stay here!
Not as advertised and misleading photos!! Very disappointing! Moths/flying insects that come out at night even though all the windows were closed (counted 33 bugs on the wall in the main bedroom alone), musty smell as soon as you enter the home (mold?), unusable dishwasher due to the smell when you open it, like something died inside it, lack of simple essentials like kitchen towels, ample extra garbage bags, aluminum foil to store leftovers, dish soap watered down, extra pillow cases so we don’t sleep on the pillow shams (are they really washed each time between guests?), proper size hand towels in the bathrooms and hooks to hang them on (not just unpatched holes where hooks used to be), proper bowls to use for cereal/ice cream, ice trays since the dispenser on the fridge doesn’t work, a shower curtain in the VERY small second bathroom, hooks in that bathroom in the appropriate height/place, and a tub that actually drains while you shower, an advertised washer/dryer that’s locked up, and an outdoor space with no furniture (and unsafe conditions with a missing pane of glass and holes in the cement). The owners response was “this isn’t a 5-star hotel”. The only redeeming quality was a safe neighborhood and ample parking.

The bathrooms in the house were not clean (there was hair in the showers), the towels were moldy smelling and there was no hot water in one of the bathrooms. The beds were not made with proper sheets - it was just a flat sheet draped over the mattresses. I would not recommend staying here.

Light & airy pictures, darker dank in reality. Many light fixtures not working. Large bed way too high. Hard go get in and out of. I'm 6' she's not and could not do it safely. Had to sleep separately. Not alot of "at home" attributes. The little things, things you don't have to have, but are nice when available. Locked up washer and dryer? Don't advertise then. It had the basics, not much more. Kitchen was ok, but can't cook without proper utensils, minimal supplies. I'm not from around SF but are all those little red ants normal? A lot of road noise starting a 0330. Of course we're from the country, so a grain of salt. We did not appreciate how many steps we had to climb to get in with our luggage. Not for us mildly handicapped old people. All in all, a generous 3/5.

Great location; Comfy beds; a little dated but overall great property.
First let me say, we had a great time at this property. This is a small house in the city. Great location. We could walk to restaurants and play pickleball at the playground next store. It had three good size bedrooms, with super comfy beds. Only one real bathroom and shower, as the second bathroom was tiny and only had a toilet. But we managed to make it work, once we figured out how to get the hot water. I finally broke down on the second day and messaged the host, and he responded very quickly with how to get that working. The kitchen had very few supplies. Only one butter knife and no real plates, only china that could not be microwaved. I would recommend adding a few more supplies in the kitchen. Also the furniture was a little heavy for the kitchen, old fashioned dining room table with heavy wooden chairs, it seemed out of place, but this is just a suggestion. Lastly, i would recommend making sure there is full hand soap in the bathrooms. The shampoo and conditioner were almost empty on arrival, but we had brought our own. It's these little things that make a difference. Overall, great stay, great location, great communication with the host.

It was a perfect getaway weekend!!! We left the car parked in the designated spot and took everything out of the car and we were not broken into and it was there every morning when I woke up. It was a beautiful place. It was a great drop off and sleep spot.

Our experience
It is difficult to find positive notes to share about this property. We had an extended stay for a family holiday and the experience was not to our expectations. A few things come to mind. - The property had a lingering odour of fabric softener, paint and something else which we couldn't describe. - The only table is a small trestle table, no proper dining table - Outdoor area seemed unsafe (moved when we walked on it, as well as having multiple large holes in the floor and a missing window) - Smoke detector fitted right near the stove, making cooking very difficult - Everything from crockery to towels looks like it's been purchased from Goodwill as cheaply as possible - Hot water in main bathroom is very tricky and again required us to contact the host (no information provided initially) - One of the sinks in the main bathroom didn't have a stopper - Bath in main bathroom smelt of paint and had bits peeling off - Shower in the smaller bathroom had no shower curtain, making it unusable - The smaller bathroom itself was quite small, making one wonder if it's even a legal addition (seems to have been made out of a closet) - We had to clean the sinks and toilets as they had only had a surface clean and were not actually clean - Lounge area had no ceiling lights, only lamps on the floor. - The 3rd bedroom could hardly be called a bedroom, it had glass doors with flimsy curtains which were not fully functional, which made sleeping there impossible if there were any lights.

A great house that could be a great stay
Generally we enjoyed that house. Emmanuel very kindly let us drop our bags early before we took off on our adventures the first day. The house was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. It needs some upgrades to be a really good rental property. There were very few dishes, cookware, and silverware and they were clearly Goodwill type buys. A matching set of dishes, cookware and silverware would really elevate the home. The main bath was roomy with a decent shower. However hot water was hard to come by in the shower. Yes, the second bathroom is tiny but it served our needs. Oh and if you’re the least bit allergic to the scent of fabric softener, you’ll need to air out the beds before using.

Found a dirty washcloth in the bathroom. Water for the bath/shower was quirky to get hot, hot was cold and cold was hot. Hair was all over the floors and bathroom. Thankfully the sheets were clean. Owner was great with communication and location was good.

Accuracy is key
The home is not completely as described. The homes second bathroom is not sufficient, thats probably why they didnt have a picture of it. I question whether its actually legal or not. Have to shimy by the sink in order to get to the toilet or shower. Looks like the built it with what was a closet. The kitchen appeared to be sufficient on the surface with the high end appliances however the water wasnt hooked up to the fridge and the backsplash tiles were stick on. Also. Some of the cabinet door handles were not screwed in and thus created some issues. The larger bathroom wasnt the cleanest and had an unfinished appearance to it. There wasnt any grout in the back splash and the tiling wasnt complete. Overall, looked like a botched DIY home improvement job. Cant say we'd recommend this home to our friends or enemies.
