Tried to check in a bit earlier after driving 5 hours - rude response of no - asked if I could use restroom - they said only for people who are staying there - when I was finally able to check in - key machine didn’t work - had to wait for staff to open door - had to wait on keys and WiFi informations. Rooms tiny in bad part of PB.

The hotel itself is clean and tidy, which I appreciated. However, the soundproofing is absolutely terrible! It felt like I was sharing the room with everyone around me. The guests upstairs sounded like T-800 Terminators stomping around, and to make matters worse, a group of loud teenagers next door kept me up from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. with their shouting and laughing. If you’re looking for a restful night’s sleep, you might want to think twice before booking here!

If you are looking for a quick, decent place to stay, is this not a bad place for the price compared to others in the area. While I like hardwood flooring, if you have a floor above you, you will hear people's footsteps from other rooms.

Great if you don't mind small rooms.
Very clean. Friendly staff. Good breakfast Room was smaller than I thought with no drawer storage for clothing and not a lot of room to live out of your suitcase. You could also feel any dirt or sand you might have tracked in due to the vinyl floors.

Room floors not carpeted which is fine except then when people in room above you walk with shoes on its quite loud. Its an older place but its kept clean and tidy. All staff were pleasant and friendly. Would stay again. Good value.

This property in a convenient location close to SD Zoo and Mission Bay. The hotel is squeezed in by commercial car dealerships and a high traffic area. Included in the price is parking and a nice hot breakfast. The WiFi was a little weak. For the price it was a reasonable value.

Excellent service!
Good value stay, the pillows on the bed were a little flat and the vent in the restroom was a bit loud but overall the stay was excellent, The TV didn't need any go around to plug my own media device into, the staff Isabel, Andrew, Rosa (Breakfast and room service), and Jocelyn were the top of the class customer service. This easily upgrades a hotel to the next star as service is a huge part of why we stay at the same location over and over.
