Crisp, white decor and warm hardwood floors are accented with nautical art and ornaments. This popular area of North Pacific Beach is mostly made up of family homes with great people that live for the beach. Most neighbors have raised their families here and are truly in love with the walkability and casual beach culture.

A Beautiful 2 Bedroom 1 Bath Home that sleeps 5 adults comfortably, is nestled in the most desirable location in Pacific Beach, North PB. Located at 876 Tourmaline St.,Tourmaline Beach and Surf Park are less than 2 ½ blocks away. We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood, within walking distance to some of the best restaurants in San Diego along with great night life nearby. Great coffee shops, a grocery store and Bird Rock (la Jolla), Turquoise Shopping ect.; Far enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy it! You will Love this Home. The Owner designed it for his family but had to move for his career. It is very well done with an open layout, a very high end kitchen, redwood deck off both the front and the back, pet friendly with a doggy door connected to the yard (for your exclusive use), private driveway, a great hot tub, picnic area, and is wonderfully landscaped throughout.

This Home is charming and well appointed. It comes complete with a 2 flatscreen televisions, Wi-Fi, Cable TV, fully furnished kitchen, granite counter tops, cherry wood cabinets, beautiful stained glass surfer, dinning table, 2 chest of drawers, one queen bed, one king bed, fold out couch (fresh linens included), and beach essentials! You will find everything you need to enjoy the beach! Beach chairs, fresh towels, boogie boards and a Soft Surfboard

A Beautiful front and back deck perfect for morning coffee or tea or an afternoon lunch!
Pet Friendly, with your own fenced yard. The quaint yard is beautifully landscaped and has a Jacuzzi and Stainless Steel BBQ

We have private parking for you to keep your vehicle when you arrive. However, you are two blocks to the beach, grocery store, bars and restaurants. The bikes provided will be a great way to get around and enjoy the neighborhood. Or you can use your car to explore other parts of San Diego and come back to your private spot.
We also have a bus stop at the end of the street for those who do not have a car and need to go out of the area.


Just imagine your own beach get away just a short walk from the Sand and a million miles from your stress at home! Come get away in Beautiful North Pacific Beach. One of the Best Beach Towns in San Diego!
(15min. to the Airport and 20min. to Downtown San Diego

Guests will have private access to the jacuzzi, boogie boards, beach accessories, soft surfboard, bbq, hairdryer, fresh linens and the front driveway. We also have shared washer and dryer as well as separate recycling.

I am always available to answer or help our guests. Please don't hesitate to call me for restaurant recommendations or just to ask about the different beaches.

This popular area of North Pacific Beach is mostly made up of family homes with great people that live for the beach. Most neighbors have raised their families here and are truly in love with the walkability and casual beach culture.

We have private parking for you to keep your vehicle when you arrive. However, you are two blocks to the beach, grocery store, bars and restaurants. The bikes provided will be a great way to get around and enjoy the neighborhood. Or you can use your car to explore other parts of San Diego and come back to your private spot.
We also have a bus stop at the end of the street for those who do not have a car and need to go out of the area.

Please note that every property in this area has multiple units. We are one of the best designed and well laid out properties in North Pacific Beach! There is a building behind the front house and a small studio next to the house, but the house has exclusive use of the driveway, backyard, hot tub, and front and back decks, and is separated by a fence.
NOTE: We have a pet fee of $100 per pet up to two

RENTAL RULES
PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL RENTAL RULES, AS WELL AS ALL INFORMATION AND RULES OUTLINED IN THE WELCOME LETTER, BEFORE YOUR CHECK-IN.
1. Smoking is not allowed in the unit.
2. A group larger than the number of guests disclosed at the time of reservation may not stay overnight in the property. An extra guest fee of $30 per person per night will be assessed for any unclaimed number of guests.
3. All of the units are privately owned; the OWNERS are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The OWNERS are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
4. NO PARTIES. Outside Quiet hours are between 9 pm and 8 am. This is a residential neighborhood, so please respect the privacy of your neighbors. Neighbors are very sensitive to noise and will notify property owner immediately of any disturbances.
5. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order.
6. Only use furniture/appliances for their intended uses.
7. Pets are permitted only with prior approval and payment of the pet fee. Pets must stay off the furniture. An extra charged will be assessed for any feces left behind in the yard (if applicable), or any damage done in the unit. A $200 charge will be assessed for any pet not disclosed and approved of.
8. Provided parking is limited to 1 vehicle(s). Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas as outlined in the welcome letter. Any additional cars will need to be parked on the street. Please pay attention to posted signs. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
9. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. Only beach towels are permitted to be taken to the beach. Please keep all white towels in the unit.
10. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Only use appliances, furniture, and electronics for their intended uses. Do not move/rearrange furniture/decorations in the unit or decorate with any tape, glue or adhesive of any kind. Appliances and Electronics are not guaranteed; Repairs will be made as soon as possible. No refund due to failure. Refunds made if due to act of god (e.g. fire, mandatory evacuation, etc.)
11. Beach Equipment: Recreational beach toys/equipment is provider by OWNER. GUEST assumes all responsibility of provided equipment. Misuse of this equipment will result in removal from the premise at the OWNER’S discretion. Please clean all sand and debris off beach equipment after use.
12. Abusive/Offensive language will not be tolerated. OWNER can dismiss GUEST at any time due to Abusive/Offensive language towards guests, neighbors, agents of the owner, as well as the owner.
13. Coin Laundry machines are provided for your convenience. Laundry hours are from 8:00am-9:00pm daily. Please keep laundry room/area clean at all times. Clear out all lint traps before/after every use. OWNER assumes no responsibility for any damage/loss to personal belonging.
This vacation home's walkable location gets good marks from our customers. During your stay, you're just a quick walk from Mission and Pacific Beaches. Features include free WiFi in public areas. A private hot tub and a kitchen are available in the vacation home.

Good Location
Good location. The front house enjoys majority of amenities. It was unclear we would be sharing the property with other units and may have caught flack for other tenants having their own hot tub experience. Numerous shops and restaurant options within walking or bike distance. Beach access just two blocks away. Would visit again if assured we would not be responsible for amenity use while we were away from the home.

quiet and comfortable house in a great neighborhood
well-appointed house in Pacific Beach neighborhood. house had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. plenty of extras are provided - including lots of beach stuff (we were here in december - not cold, but not quite beach weather). loved the neighborhood - some great bars and restaurants in walking distance. in spite of the nearby nightlife it was VERY quiet. would definitely stay again.

Quick getaway
Awesome place, clean, everything we needed, great location. We used the bikes to get around. Only thing I felt awkward using the w/d because I had to walk past the home directly behind us and their motion light would come on. Absolutely rent again when we go back, no need to look around for something else.

Amazing property! Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Except maybe a couple more (firmer) pillows in the master bedroom, but that is really the one and only minor thing. Perfect location, adorable house, lots of beach accessories, bikes, and a great hot tub to relax in. Our family of five loved every minute of our trip!

Quiet Bachelorette Party
My best friend (the bride) and our small party had so much fun at this charming place!! Even though the weather wasn’t great, we enjoyed that the location was close to the beach and several delicious restaurant spots! I appreciated the welcome binder with TONS of recommendations for coffee, food, and things to do in SD. The hot tub was a plus too! The owner was very responsive and kind and made everything very easy and clear. Would definitely recommend this place for a small group or even a couple!

Great central location
We were happy the house was a quick drive to everything we wanted to see. Being able to walk to tourmaline beach was nice. As other reviewers have said the front and back yards do not have a lot of privacy from the units behind and the studio that shares a wall but the other guests were mostly quiet. The stacked washer and dryer are outside and take coins. $2 per wash $1 per dry cycle. I'm glad my husband is tall otherwise I wouldnt have been able to get the clothes out of the dryer without a chair.The electric tea kettle was nice to have but it could stand to be updated as the on button was finicky and wouldnt always stay on. We did not bother to communicate this the owner and just lived with it. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend it.

Clean, cozy and close to the beach, restaurants and store. We would come back again. The only slight drawback was that the washer and drier was not located in the house and was shared with other units. This was noted in the description, so we can't really complain about it, and there really wasn't room for a washer/drier in the house. All in all a great place as long as you understand what you're getting, so read the description closely.

While the weather was not great during our time in San Diego, the house was ideal for cooking dinner and relaxing in the hot tub after a few days of rain. The street it was located on is a very easy walk to the beach and some coffee/pub locations, but had very little traffic during our entire stay. Was great for a family of 4.

The owner was flexible and easy to communicate with. Loved the location, quiet neighborhood, 10-15 walk to Garnet Ave with all shops and amenities. Love the local grocery store up the road. House clean, perfect for family of 4. Comfortable beds. Property attached to rental, not a big deal. Rear yard is divided off but definitely not private, again knew that coming in. Not a deal for us. Would stay again, cute, well equipped. Maybe just a new coffee maker, doesn't get coffee super hot. Nice touch with wine and glasses, great after a long drive.

Wintertime in SD
Beautifully situated property in North PB. We encountered several issues - not enough towels/ sheets and missing items listed as included - iron, wine glasses. Linda responded immediately and took care of all our questions and issues. But, the grill did not work, the bedroom lamp stopped working, the dishwasher stopped working, and so did the blender. Gary repaired or replaced each of these within one day and we got to know him as a very nice man. The HVAC system in not centralized and the bedrooms got very cold at night. There were sufficient blankets to keep us comfortable and also two space heaters that worked to supplement the main unit. The house has two units in it - the main 2 bedroom residence, and an attached efficiency unit. We could hear those guests talking occasionally but they were courteous. One day, they blew out a circuit breaker that Gary asked me to turn back on since it was located in our bedroom closet. No problem, but the units are not entirely separated- you can hear water running from the efficiency unit too. There are two nice units located behind the residence - both were occupied. We did not feel we had privacy even though the back yard was designated for our exclusive use. We had to walk to the COIN operated washer and dryer through their yards that we shared with all four units. Overall, this is a nice property and well equipped for a small family that wants to visit and play on the beach.

Fantastic location and very clean
Loved this rental! It is well stocked in the kitchen, the beds/pillows were very soft and comfortable. The location cannot be better for getting around to everything easily. The front porch with large chairs are perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset. Lovely place, thank you so much!
