Every staff member that I met was responsive for all requests, professional and friendly. The breakfast area was well kept, organized, and clean ad food selections were routinely rotated with a good number of choices each day. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was great about the property, except two things: 1. I was woken up at 08:30 from cleaning staff knocking on my door wanting to clean. Check out time is 12:00. 2. When checking in there was literally a bus load of kids checking in. One staff member was checking them in while the other was just staring at another computer. I clearly could have been helped. I stood there a very long time.

The breakfast buffet was delicious and the best I’ve had in all my years of travel. The front staff was so friendly. The only negative was that the carpets in the room were very stained and the tiles in the bathroom chipped away.

Front desk let me check in 1.5 hrs early, much appreciated. Room very clean and well appointed. Asked for the quiet side of the property and received it. Morning bkfst well done, all foods were freshly done @nd the porter kept the place clean and organized. My only beef with this property was the $10 a day parking, really???

Lovely Getaway
This is the best PRACTICAL stay. The hotel was clean inside and out, staff is friendly & professional, and they have amazing breakfast included. I would stay here again and suggest it to anyone who needs a hotel to stay in San Diego.

Was supposed to be accessible since I lived in the area 5 years ago, I thought I knew the place but we got lost, can’t find the hotel quickly, it’s either the gps that was wrong and it took us an hour to find the property. The gps guided us to Hyatt twice and we found out the Country inn is at the back and there was no access from back. Wee called the number provided for help but it’s automated, won’t accept our input for information. It was frustrating. We found out later as we drove around that there’s another Lusk st. An hour had passed between calling and driving around. We were late for our event. The other sad part is we requested for a quiet room, we are seniors and have trouble sleeping, but we were given an adjacent room and our neighbors were loud and partying, it was past midnight, we could hear them laugh and scream too loud enough that we called the front office for intervention. We wanted to sleep badly for the next day travel. That was solved. We just wished our request for a quiet room never became an issue. And the address could have been clearer that there are 2 streets with same name. Thank you

The rooms were spacious the breakfast was one of the best continental breakfast I've ever had, with many choices. Close to all the attractions. Would absolutely stay here again. The bar was a added bonus and parking was only $10 a day with in and out privilege's.
