love this hotel, you feel right at home during your stay. perfect place to live your city girl life for a few days. perfect to bring your pups, there is a small dog park nearby (5min walk)

The hotel was awesome! Great location-you can walk everywhere in the Riverwalk area. The bed was comfy and the rooms were private-I couldn’t hear my neighbors. I’d stay here again!

Great location! Close to so many wonderful restaurants and attractions. The room is small but nice, including a kitchenette and spacious bathroom.The only downside was the noise level from outside. If you choose to stay here bring earplugs! And park a block away at the Houston Garage for $10 a day!

The Maverick is a gem right next to the Riverwalk…and above Voodoo Donuts! We got an upgrade to the penthouse which is the sweetest suite. Great rooftop patio with view of the Alamo, river, and skyline. Very modern decor, helpful staff, comfy beds, superb location. Free breakfast taco and coffee at nearby Revolucion was a nice bonus.

Staff was excellent and room was charming. However the road noise and lack of sound proofing made it impossible to get a goid night's rest. Perhaps it was just out room and how it faced. But i cannot recommend it based on our stay.

My overall experience was okay. The property was maintained to satisfaction, but for the price and the area that the hotel is located I was expecting more. The room were minimum and cold not comforting at all. If you are looking to just lay your head down for cheap then this is your spot.

It would be nice to have basic cable or a streaming service that does not require the customer to purchase . Parking was expensive and finding the hotel location a bit confusing. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating great location and very clean
