I highly recommend the Hilton on the Riverwalk
The Home2 Suites by Hilton on the Riverwalk in San Antonio, TX was perfect in every way. The hotel is clean and well maintained, the location is perfect for visiting the Riverwalk area, and the room had everything we needed. Our room had a balcony overlooking the Riverwalk, a fully stocked kitchenette, and breakfast was provided. There is a small laundry room near the gym and pool. The Riverwalk is accessible from the hotel. Valet parking is expensive but there is a large, clean, inexpensive parking garage 1 block West ($10/night 2024).

Good location.
Good location and price related to others around the Riverwalk. You can can to the riverwalk by walking, very short distance. And you have a parking 10 dollars the night a few steps from the hotel.

Our hotel stay for 3 adults and two kids was very pleasant. The room was very clean and spacious and accommodated our needs. Staff is very professional, friendly and made us feel right at Home! Complimentary breakfast was so good with multiple options each day!

My laptop was removed from my briefcase. Lost. Really upsetting. Breakfast is always crowded and never well stocked. Noise from construction outside. One of the ladies at the front desk was really nice, another one, totally opposite. We were bothered three times this morning knocking constantly at our door to check if we were leaving already (do not disturb sign hanging at the door!)

We were able to us the metro bus service for our travel from the airport and to it. Also, we were able to walk to most tourist areas, and use the bus to get to our family’s meeting area.

What I did not like is the shared bathrooms in the the Lobby, My wife and my daughter are not and will never be allowed to use such facilities. This concern will keep myself and my family from retuturning to this establishment.

Place was in a food locations and rooms were large and clean. Breakfast was nothing special but was included in the price and convenient. There is no parking on site so you have to valet, which is 40 dollars a day. They ask that you call them 20 min in advanced to get your car ready. Unfortunately they are clearly not well staffed and even calling ahead it took between 30 min to an hour to get your car. Not reasonable and unacceptable for businesses travelers like me dependent on the vehicle to get to meetings. If not planning on using a car then this is an affordable place to stay in a great part of town and accessible to the riverwalk. If driving, look elsewhere as their timelines for getting your car are just atrocious.

Fish bites in the fruit--ick!!!
Free breakfast looked great, BUT mixed fruit contained two small bites of FISH!!! Ruined my appetite for the entire day, and lowered my ranking considerably. Otherwise, good location IF you ignored the homeless person camped out at the base of the stairs. Very nice decor; comfortable beds. Pricey.
