Overpaid for a disgusting view of a trashed out, heavily graffitied building in disrepair. I elected and paid more for a Riverwalk view. I was baited and switched due to over selling of those rooms. I was traveling with my family and a young child. I had no option to contest because we needed a safe place to stay.

The hotel has an excellent location, close to the river, beautiful view. I cannot give 5 stars to the staff because on my first day, arrived very late at night, three polices knocked the door strongly after 2:00AM, this is ridiculous and me and family felt so scary thinking they were fake and was an assault. I didn't know how to open the door, then, I called the lobby staff, and they told me that my next door guests called the police because someone in my room tried to open a door between both rooms. First, it is expected that the hotel staff called us to clarify this situation instead of the police. Second, what is the meaning of a door between both rooms, we just tried to open the door as it looks like a closet. The hotel is also responsible to warrant peace in mind for the guests because this is paid vacation. How the hotel didn't alert me before going the police at this hour when i was trying to sleep and very tired.

It was directly on the river walk. Easy access to a lot of restaurants and easy walk to the Alamo and Americas Tower. Clean room and very spacious.
