River smell in #192
Horrible 2-night's stay in 192. The room double bed was not queen size as expecting but full size. The room has a smell of the San Antonio River thru out the entire room into the bathroom. At 1st thought it was mildew or mold smell. Seem like we were sleeping under bridges next to the river. Made an emergency run to CVS for bleach wipes and 4 scented candles to help sleep thru the nights. The scent would have followed us home, but we stop at a laundry mat to wash our dirty laundry plus duffle bag to kill the smell off before our 4-hour drive back home. Didn't know wanting to stay close to Downtown would cost us gag and constantly coughing.

Completely regret the attempted stay.!
I only booked here because the city was busy, and the name Wyndham was part of the name. I've stayed in the immediate surrounding hotels (Hilton, Marriott, etc.) and they were not bad at all. We checked in at 5pm, put the bags down and left the room till about midnight. I was surprised to realize this was more of a motor inn when I walked to the room but just went with it. When we returned at midnight to the room, it was no longer cool. In fact the AC was blowing hot air and the room smelt of mold and sewage. I called the front desk and he said he'd come check it out. By the time he wondered up there, I'd already shut the system down and gone through the cycles, which seemed to have fixed it. He arrived and spoke to me like I was dumb and didn't know what I was talking about because it was blowing cold air now. We decided to just go to bed, but when I pulled the sheets back, there were shoe marks on the sheets. I asked for a refund, and was offered new sheets for ME to replace. At this point I was done, and pretty furious. I asked for a refund again and was denied by "Management" and Hotels.com because I paid by debit and it was too late. I decided to just quit arguing before I said or did something that they were not worth my getting in trouble for. We left and just took the 1.5hr drive home. Complete waist of time and money to trust a name and advertised pictures. In the end, Hotels.com gave me 75 credits of my $216 that I lost in the end. This place should be condemne.

I would have given it at least a four star, but don't agree with them charging parking fees as a guess with them. Ice machine is not cleaned nor the swimming pool 😔, Stayed two days, although room was pretty good.

Wyndham ought to be ashamed of putting their name associated with Days Inn. It was a horrible experience. I got my money back immediately. The room was filthy. It was feces in the toilet the first room that they gave us. The bedspread was dirty the second room that they gave us it was drug paraphernalia behind the dresser. It was filthy. It was dirty. It was cupcake crumbs. Everything left behind there.

It was a horrible experience to say the least. The room and the sheets smelled like someone had recently smoked, the from door was falling off and wouldn’t close. When I told the person in charge about these concerns, he gave me an explanation like if I was a 3rd grader.
