First Solo Trip Ever and it was great!
I enjoyed my stay pretty well! I was only there for one night, but staff was friendly, check in was quick, and the breakfast had a nice spread! The place is older (scraped surfaces, worn elevator door, etc.), but they keep it clean! It was a nice solo stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. When this old country boy couldn’t figure out the TV remote or the light switch configuration in the room they promptly educated me without even the slightest giggle.

We were first assigned a room on the 2md floor. The whole floor smelled musty. Moreover, the pull out couch in the room we were in (#206) had mold in it, and the trim was coming off the baseboards. We asked for a different room and was assigned one on the first floor. This room was fine, other than the fact that we had to ask for our rooms to be cleaned everyday. Also, the breakfast was somewhat lacking in variety, the eggs were always cold and one of the waffle makers didn’t work quite right. The ice machine on the second floor was out of order, as well as the bathrooms in the lobby area.

I rather not review than to leave a bad one, but this place was beyond horrible. Just walking in (from a 6 hr drive) i told the front desk guy i have a reservation but could i use the RR quickly, and he said no he needed to find my reservation first. Rooms and hallway stink. Mold at crown moldings. mold in the elevators. Tile missing and broken in my room's bathroom. My toilet clogged after i was gone all day and they told me to go downstairs to get the plunger. Breakfast time...was told to look at the paper on the counter that you can take food up to my room. Lasthousekeeping was dropping towels off but then opened the bathroom door which i had closed while i was straightening my hair. reached Infront of me and took the towel that was Infront of me which i was using. Never been so unpleased at any hotel.

Ok, but not ok
Breakfast was 6-9am Day 1, i went down @ 830am & there was barely any food, so i only had toast, jam & juice. Day 2, i went down @ 8am & everything was low & had to wait on each item to be refilled. So when waffle batter was finally refilled i had to wait 10 in line to make waffles Day 3, i left @4am, so no breakfast...but this was expected. When staying at hotel with breakfast, i used to the staff being attentive to the supply & constantly refilling everything. I left postcards at the front desk to be mailed, but the attendant did understand what I was asking him to do. I just wanted him to put iy out in with their US mail. I havent heard yet that my postcards were reveived. I did leave a note for the manager to mail them out & left my cell number if there were questions, but no one has called me, so i hope they wrre eent out. The room was acceptable, but the breakfast sercice & staff knowledge was below standards.
