Perfect stay for a night

It is rather a student residence than a hotel, but as such, it is perfect for one night stay in Salzburg. Clean, proper breakfast, quiet area.

Es ist für den Preis okay.

Cons: Siehe oben
Es ähnelt sehr einer Jugendherberge. Nicht alle Zimmer haben einen Fernseher. Das Bad ist nicht gründlich gereinigt worden; die Ecken würden komplett rund geputzt. Das Frühstück ist das Geld nicht Wert. In allen Jugendherbergen, in denen ich bislang war, war das Frühstück um Längen besser.

Nice, ideal for families.

Pros: The hotel has bikes for rent, free Wifi and parking space (still in Salzburg centre).
Cons: Elevator is quite slow.
Location: Salzburg sightseeing.
We stayed at the hotel to be near to the Salzburg centre and to visit the festival there.

L'hôtel est situé dans un quartier calme. Il est neuf. C'est une résidence universitaire transformée en hôtel pour les vacances.

Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg in den Süden

Pros: Eindeutig das Zimmer!
Cons: frisch gekochter Kaffee und ein Samowar für heißes Wasser
Location: Etwas außerhalb der Altstadt, aber gut mit Öffis zu erreichen
Ich habe mit meinen beiden Kindern (15 und 13) auf dem Weg in den Süden eine Zwischenübernachtung im Kolpinghaus gemacht. Wir waren früh da, das Personal war sehr nett und auskunftsfreudig. Wir konnten unser Gepäck bis zum einchecken abstellen. Nach zehn Min Fußweg zur nächsten Bushaltestelle konnten wir mit dem Bus direkt in die Altstadt gelangen, perfekt für eine kurze Stadtbesichtigung. Trotz Zustellbett im Doppelzimmer war immer noch genügend Platz für 3 Leute. Das Zimmer lag nach hinten, was uns eine ruhige Nacht beschert hat. Wahrscheinlich sind die nach vorne gerichteten Zimmer aber ebenso ruhig, da das Koplinghaus am Ende einer Sackgasse liegt. Frühstück war ok für diese Preisklasse, frisch gekochter Kaffee und ein Samowar für heißes Wasser würden wahrscheinlich mehr Freude am Frühstück aufkommen lassen. Heißgetränke gab an der Maschine. Wir würden wieder dort übernachten!

Pros: Renoviertes Zimmer
Cons: Freundlichkeit am Empfang
Nach 10 Minuten Wartezeit und den vielen grusslos vorbeilaufenden Menschen kam dann doch noch jemand an die Reception. Kein Nachfragen wielange ich schon warte, keine Entschuldigung. Bei meiner Nachfrage auf welcher Etage sich mein Zimmer befindet kam die Antwort "So wie ich es Ihnen grad gesagt hab". Man fühlt sich wirklich nicht willkommen. Zimmer im Parterre ein paar Meter hinter dem Empfang, sehr hellhörig, Geschrei in den Fluren bis spät Abends. Geweckt durch laut unterhaltendes Putzpersonal um 06:45 Uhr morgens. Ansonsten war mein Zimmer offfenbar neu renoviert, mit modernem grossem TV und sogar Schweizer Sender. Sauberkeit OK.

wir waren nur eine Nacht dort und waren sehr zufrieden, vor allem,weil es so unkomplziert war einzuchecken zumal wir später als 21.00 Uhr angekommen sind
