A lovely cottage in a remote location
This is a beautiful property in a fairly remote location, perfect for those wishing to get away from it all. One point worth noting: the last part of the drive in is on a very windy and poorly maintained road, but is less troublesome if one enters that road from the direction of Willow Creek. The wifi is fairly poor, so if you like watching movies or shows in the evenings we recommend bringing DVDs/Blu-rays with you (there are also quite a few on-site). At any rate, the wifi is good enough to allow sending and receiving emails and texts. But that's a minor issue. The property is lovely and has all one needs to enjoy a week in the woods. The view of the river and surrounding mountains is beautiful and the stars at night are amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Secluded wonderful getaway
This place is amazing. Very secluded and right on the river. Here are some protips - research river conditions beforehand. The Trinity was still experiencing peak run off conditions and was unswimmable and unfishable for the most part. Also, heed the hosts driving instructions that "strongly suggest" accessing the property from Willow Creek. Really, the host should change this to a requirement, not a suggestion. Even accessing from Willow Creek is a bit tricky and not for the faint of heart but we loved it and it added to the adventure. The place is wonderfully kept. I saw a couple complaints about spider webs outside etc but you are in the wilderness and that is to be expected. The deck was awesome. We cooked on the grill and enjoyed the river view and sounds. Overall, a wonderfu Adventure. We will be back for sure!!!!!

Beautiful Views
Peaceful setting surrounded by Madronas and a lot of other cool flora. The house is a little dark in the winter, could use some better lighting, or new, brighter light bulbs.

Fun on the River
Cabin was spacious and clean. Wonderful deck with great views of the water. Very well equipped. Would like to visit again next summer. Perfectly private and we swam at the little black sand beach in the backyard. 😊👍👍

April spring break
We had a late start and didn’t get to the house until 4am. The roads were very narrow and steep. It was difficult to find in the dark. I would definitely recommend going during the daylight. Once we got there the house was very cold, but each room had space heaters and heated blankets. My family relaxed indoors and some ventured outside in the cold to explore the beach area. My husband tried fishing but didn’t have much luck. It is a beautiful and relaxing place. The summer months would be a perfect time to go to enjoy outside more. Our family really liked it there.

Trinity River house
This is an amazing house with beautiful redwood & Pine wood interior. It is located close to the Trinity river, with great views of the river from large windows & the huge deck!!! It is in a remote location, but just what we wanted for a mile stone birthday celebration, with privacy & lots of trees & brush to give a country feel to the area. I had hoped to do some Steelhead fishing, but non stop rain raised the river so much it put an end to that! Ha! The host is Joanna, who is super nice & big help to us during our stay!!!! Highly recommend this for a getaway vacation home!!
