We love the Grand America, we’ve stayed several times and it never disappoints! Especially around the holidays, the atmosphere is so festive and the food and entertainment are outstanding. It also makes for a great anniversary getaway which we combine with the holiday fun! The hotel is elegant, the amenities are top notch, the staff are all wonderful and the price for such an experience can’t be beat!

The room service breakfast was so bad. It was the equivalent of IHOP! Don’t wait your money egg wasn’t cooked right, food was all cold, hot chocolate was brown warm water! The French toast was mushy it was so gross. Don’t waist your money. For what we paid we should have had an amazing breakfast! The staff was nice, hotel is great but breakfast for room service is awful

The staff here are as friendly as a dagger is soft. I would not recommend staying here especially if you have children. My children are around 14-17 and they still were not allowed to swim after 2100. The employees I dealt with were very annoyed to even be talking to me and check-in was not any better. They were not friendly or informative. When the clerk handed me the keys to the room he turned and walked away without even giving me directions to the elevator or our room. Never again, even if it was free.

Worth every penny!
Fabulous! Such a beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms, such friendly service. It was during Christmas season, so there were a lot of non guests in the main level to see the decorated windows and gingerbread house. The bed was comfortable and everything was so tidy clean. Robes and slippers to lounge in, as you watch the large screen TVs We were so glad we chose to stay here for our wedding anniversary!

The Christmas trees and Christmas lights were beautiful, but usually there are slippers and robes in the room, but this time they didn’t change the robes someone else did wear and it smelled bad and they were no slippers. When I checked in, the credit card machine seemed to be broken, so I had to wait.
