The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside. It looks more like a convention center than a hotel. However, the inside is very nice. The rooms are big, modern and clean. The Lakeside has great food. It is a very convienent location if you are hoping to be close to the airport.

Stayed here for a week and they have the best breakfast I’ve ever had at an American hotel ever. Cleaning service was immaculate. They cleaned my room as soon as I left. Front desk service was good. The bar was convenient and has a classy, yet modern look to it food and drinks there is just as good. I will highly recommend and will book again in the future.

Room was clean and very comfortable. Hotel had very nice bar and grill and a breakfast buffet that was excellent. We were able to pay a fair price to leave our car until our return. Shuttle to and from airport.

I was significantly impressed with the fact that they provided body lotion, conditioner, shampoo, all in pump bottles attached to the wall. I found that to be environmentally conscious and I was relieved to have some of those items that don’t show up at other hotels- including a shower cap make up remover wipes. I have to say that I got room service and found it delicious- I do have to say that the person who took my order seemed to be having a stressful time hearing over the phone, and the order was slightly wrong when it came. I don’t care much about that. The overall stay was fantastic, I felt safe, and although I didn’t have time to use it, the pool seemed very impressive.

We picked this hotel to be close to the airport and because of the Double Tree name. This was Not a good stay. Service was bad. Restaurant and bar closed early and staff was rude. Rooms were dated and worn

Good things first - great lake view with balcony. I loved it, pretty serene. Having great dining options withing the property is a great plus. We arrived late at 9:00 PM and had the option to have great hot food without searching for restaurants was nice. The food was very reasonably priced. The room was spacious. The linen was very nice and the pillows were comfortable. They also had shuttle from airport. What I didn't like - this is old property, it shows. The wood under the table peeling off, the carpets show their age, the bathrooms are stale. Bottomline, the property can use a refresh. Nice to have - A microwave could have been nice. A 500ml bottle of water for $3? Come on. A wireless charger would have been nice and the TV could have other applications like Netflix/Prime than just Comcast.

Everything was very nice and clean. Employees were very helpful. Breakfast was great and the bar area served. Great food. Probably some of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel and the bar area almost feels like a sports bar from your house. Very good atmosphere definitely recommend not too many things around there but very close to the airport under 2 miles.
