The room was not clean. I think we were given someone else's room that wasn't cleaned. The carpet was dirty, not vacumed, couple of peanuts fell out of the pillowcase when I fluffed it up, just plain and simple dirty! Nasty

Great value for the cost and a nice little find for our family with young kids heading back to the West Coast. The owner was very friendly (and so were the other guests for that matter!). The building is two stories, ten rooms per floor. Each room has a balcony and window in the bathroom. Microwave and mini fridge were great but bring your own dishes. Will stay again!

Reception was great. Rooms are old and rundown. AC was off when we got there and never did cool the room so it was really stuffy. We had wasps stuck in the sheets (glad we brought our own bedding). Lamps are for show and don't actually work. Beds were uncomfortable but it was better than sleeping in our car.

The room was clean and safe. A decent place to stop for the night. There was no top sheet on one of the beds. And the light between the beds didn’t work. The bath mat was carpet-like and I’m not sure the last time it was washed. We booked for 3 people and there were only 2 bath towels in the room (I expect they would have given us another but we all opted to skip shower). I would stop again if I was looking for a convenient place to sleep for a night.

Last minute choice
It was a last minute choice because our plans had changed. I think I was expecting a bit more because of the price (230$) for a queen room. Mismatched furniture, 2 of the lights didn't work (well, one was unplugged and there were no unused outlets to plug it into to). Yellow bathtub from 1960 (although it was in surprisingly good condition). The air conditioner worked, mostly, but on high it sounded like a jetliner. It did have a fridge and a microwave. Wifi was pretty bad. It was mostly clean, but when the place is old...

You get what you pay for. Friendly staff. Memory foam beds with memory foam pillows. It does the job for a night’s sleep. Kinda nice that the rooms have the little balconies. It’s a room with a bed and a bathroom where you can put your stuff, plus a microwave and fridge. Nothing less, nothing more. If you need an inexpensive place to stay, it’ll get the job done.

Great place for a stay when travelling. Staff very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Only issue was that 2 lights didn’t work - other than that it was excellent. Had a fridge and microwave and keurig coffee maker - so everything I needed.
