Room has iron, ironing board, blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, lotion, fan, heater, bottled water, wine glasses and wine opener. S'more fixings available upon request. Rejuvenate from the quiet surroundings. Enjoy the outdoor patio and fire pit. Drive up to a gated community where you'll experience the peaceful surroundings. Oak trees and wildlife make your stay quiet and relaxing. Be prepared to see deer! We are located 2 miles off of highway 101. Parking is right in front of the main house. We are centrally located off of highway 101. 10 minutes to Salinas Steinbeck country, 20 minutes to Monterey/Carmel and 20 minutes to Gilroy. We are available on site to make sure your stay is comfortable! We will gladly help you with your luggage to and from the suite.

Great short stay
It’s has a remote vibe to it, very peaceful if you are into that but it is a bit of a drive to get anywhere. Hosts are amazing and very friendly, and the room is clean and has plenty of amenities. Thanks for having us!

Wonderful Relaxing Respite
Clark and Christine host you in a wonderful secret hideaway! A small room in the back of their home is accompanied with a beautiful deck that overlooks a small valley laden with beautiful pines and oaks. We enjoyed a muffin and coffee on Sunday morning, then off to Carmel by the Sea. Not for the folks who can’t walk down a steep driveway, nor ford the narrow path to this hideaway. Also…use GOOGLE Maps to navigate to this destination as Waze or other maps will bring you far away. We hope Clark and Christine invite us back!

Very secluded and very quiet place. No signal though so as mentioned in other reviews make sure to coordinate arrival ahead of time. Very cute cat named monkey!

Prunedale stay
Check in was easy, place was lovely. Location was easy to find. The only problem we had was the walk from where we parked. It was a bit too steep of a walk from top to bottom of driveway, to get to the room. Other than that it was very nice.

Amazing property, just needed to read the description better to know there was a gate. Limited cell service, but very accomodating hosts that had wifi! Loved the banana chocolate chip muffins! Best hosts!

It's a bit off the path, but a nice drive to a secluded property. Quiet, clean and comfortable. We stayed only one night but hope to return for a longer getaway. Nice couple, coffee, water and morning muffins, and a guest book with entries from guests sharing their experiences - a nice touch. Not much in the area so bring any evening refreshments you may require.

The suite was very complete with all the amenities that you can think of, it was very clean and the bed and the bathroom were fantastic! Clark and Christine are excellent hosts and we would certainly recommend this for your next stay!

Christine and Clark are wonderful hosts who seem to enjoy welcoming guests to their home. They have created a lovely room with its own entrance to allow privacy. We were happy to be greeted by both of them when we arrived and Clark insisted on carrying some of our luggage to the room while they both provided helpful insights to the area. If we find ourselves in the area again, we wouldn’t hesitate to book another stay.

Clark and Christine have made a great guest suite to stay in. They are very kind and hospitable and want to make sure you have everything you need. It's a comfortable room and bathroom and all the amenities needed were provided. The guest suite is attached to the back of their home and has a beautiful view. Service and internet speed is spotty and slow so coordinate directions and arrival prior to getting there.

Peaceful, relaxing experience.
It was a quiet experience. The room is modern and well decorated. It had everything we needed and when we wanted to keep some food cold they provided a cooler. The hosts were very responsive to our needs and kept in very good communication. We had some good conversations with them and enjoyed loving on their outdoor cat.

Fantastic View and comfortable!
The view alone is more than worth the stay! plan on an evening for sunset. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The owners are very accommodating and even carry your luggage. Easy to get to and not far at all from Carmel. Loved the location and will be back.

Super impressed with this little property! The hosts were fabulous, great communication, very welcoming, gave lots of local recommendations! A cozy little spot to come 'home' to every evening! Beautiful property. Very quiet and peaceful. The hosts were great and the muffins were outstanding. You will absolutely adore the cat. He will be right outside your door waiting to be pet. The only thing this place didn’t have was a refrigerator but it’s no big deal since it wasn’t listed as a feature of this property,
