We can look every day at the clear (where we refine the oysters) and the sea from the kitchen, the living room, or the steps, we never get tired, the changing light makes it a landscape regularly renewed.
If the house is not available the rest of the year, it is because we always enjoy staying there too and we are keen to maintain it regularly so that it is pleasant.
Because there is no good vacation without a good night we have treated the insulation of the rooms and replaced all the bedding. Each bed has 2 pillows, a blanket, a duvet. Each room is equipped with blackout shutters and curtains, you can make the dark completely or let the light filter in. Upon arrival the beds are made.
As we meet there as a family and like to have everything on hand, the house is very well equipped.
As on vacation you don't spend your time doing the dishes (even in the machine), there are many.
As we have daughters there are hair dryers and mirrors.
As we are all more and more connected, there are sockets everywhere, but high to protect the little ones. As the network is not always at the top there is free WiFi and satellite TV.
As we are music lovers there is a good HiFi system and a piano, please take care of it.
The house was built in 1976 by my grandfather, a teacher passionate about sailing. He did everything himself, the shell, the fireplace, the furniture, the models, ...
The whole family spent most of the holidays there.
We gave it a second life after a very large restoration project in 2013 but have kept some of the layout, furniture and initial decoration. First fitted out for our family, we put it at your disposal in season with a personalized decoration, each room having its theme related to sailing: Soleil Royal, Danmark, Pen Duick. . . it's up to you to discover the link.
As you will have understood: we love our house and we like to share it with families, small or large tribes, groups of friends, as much as with smaller committees.
In this spirit, we practice reasonable pricing by offering you the comfort of a real house, the calm of a large garden, the pleasure of a sea view, real beds for 11 people (no sleeping in sofas with us) for less than a mobile home for 8 people. . . Up to you !
